Un hôtel situé dans un ravissant petit village à 10 m d'une église charmante, entièrement restaurée et aussi jolie à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur.
Cet hôtel de construction ancienne a fait le choix de rester « dans son jus », dans l'esprit Forêt noire. Évidemment, c'est un pari difficile car il faut allier à la fois l'authenticité et le confort.
Pour ce faire, les propriétaires ont choisi de moderniser l'endroit par petites touches successives discrètes et répétées. Il faut dire que c'est assez réussi et que l'ambiance authentique est bien là. Mais bien sûr, pour le voyageur de passage, c'est au détriment d'un certain confort, pas de climatisation, pas de réfrigérateur, pas de coffre-fort, etc. On ne peut pas tout avoir en même temps, la tradition chaleureuse et le confort ultra-moderne.
À noter, le restaurant quasiment gastronomique, chaque plat est préparé et présenté avec énormément de soins et beaucoup de talent culinaire. Sans compter que la salle à manger est absolument magnifique par son décor de bon goût et son élégance. Tout cela a un coût, bien entendu, mais calculé strictement sans exagération.
Sans être certain que ce soit le choix idéal pour une étape d'une soirée, et encore, tout dépend de l'état d'esprit dans lequel on est, pour un séjour de détente et de repos de quelques nuits cet endroit me paraît parfait.

Kleine Anmerkung……es ist ein persönliches Gefühl u. kann nicht zwangsläufig auf andere Gäste übertragen werden.
Die Kopfkissen sind gefühlt zu weich zu fluffig. Sie sacken ins sich zusammen als wären sie aus Luft. Ich hätte mir gerne ein festeres Kissen gewünscht.
Alles andere war hervorragend.
