Pros:

Great location right in front of the castle. It's also just a few minutes walk from the train station.
Loved the breakfast with lots of japanese dishes. The bed was comfy and the room had a standard japanese bathroom.
Staff was also really nice and always helpful.

Cons:

They mention free parking, which is not true. I got discounted parking and had to pay 500 yen per night (which is totally reasonable).
The hallways were pretty warm with no air conditioning.

スタッフの方々が、とても感じ良かったです。
ホテルの規模も、大き過ぎず、こじんまりとした雰囲気も居心地が良かったです。

Nice accommodation, perfect location, nice atmosphere
Pros:

Well-located hotel, with a view of Hikone Castle from the terrace (my room had a view of the back). Very friendly welcome, welcome drink, very extensive and tasty breakfast. My single room was simple, but you don't need more.

プチ贅沢な一夜
Pros:

①朝食バイキングは、品数も多くそれぞれが美味しい。スタッフの対応が丁寧
②正面のライトアップされた彦根城が美しい
③浴衣で館内を歩ける。気楽でいい

Cons:

大浴場は、正面に彦根城が見えるのだが、湯船に何か浮いている。それが普通か？異常か？分からなかった。

Comfortable with a great Breakfast.
Pros:

Pretty standard room (mine was a city view) the bed was comofortable and the room was very quiet. The included breakfast was amazing and the complementary drink in the evening was a ncie touch too.

Amazing place to stay for cyclists starting Biwaichi in Hikone
Pros:

The staff were super helpful. I was biking around Biwako and for the information of other would-be cyclists, they will store your bike in a storage room so that it is safe.

The baths are amazing especially for before and after a big ride around the lake!

The hotel is situated in an amazing place with a perfect view of Hikone Castle, and easy walking distance to the JR station, restaurants, and other amenities.

Cons:

My comment about the bike storage could be advertised on the website so that I could have known ahead of time that storage on site was possible.

It transformed my business trip to a pleasant trip.
Pros:

Excellent location, right next to Hikone Castle. The bath was facing the castle, and it was pretty to look at. I went for a run in the morning surrounding the castle.
I came for work, but will come with family for vacation at some point. I will totally recommend it to my friends who want to explore Japan.
