Your customer service and etiquette is exceptional and at the highest standards. I appreciate taking into consideration my needs and concerns.
Comfortable budget hotel. The hotel looked newly renovated with new carpets throughout. The room was clean and had white linen sheets. I was on the top floor and it was quiet. The hotel allowed me to adjust check-in time at short notice and had a staffed reception.
Convenient location, staff were friendly and largely helpful, TV was working fine with several channels to choose from :)
There were definitely bedbugs, had to kill several throughout my stay. Also this is not a good place to stay over the summer. The window was essentially propped open with a tiny coffee cup, so there was only a small space for wind to come in over the night. There was a fan but you only got a small breeze from it, so I ended up waking up way earlier than I usually would simply because I couldn't bear the heat.
The hotel is in a perfect central location with / undergrounds just meters away from the hotel with plenty of restaurants and shops just meters away.
Location was good, just 4 minutes away from waywater station.
Room was really small. The window wouldn't open and we had to endure the smoldering heat with just a weak ceiling fan. Bed sheets were also uncomfortable and causing us to itch.
We had to stay just for 1 night after West End Musical. The staff is very helpful. Especially Maria. She kindly gave us all the answers over the phone. Late check in was not a problem- very fast and prompt. But the hotel overall did not look welcoming, lots of drunks sat outside the entrance on the steps smoking. Empty and lifeless Reception. The tiniest room we have ever stayed in 20 years of travelling. And yes, as other Reviews said- you can hear everything from the rooms above. So sound isolation is not up to minimum standards. The actual bed and bedding was super CLEAN. Thank you to the cleaners maids who do the hardest job. Rooms had ceiling fans - which was TOP need in London heatwave.
1. The dirtiest toilet and bathroom we have every stayed. Literally falling apart. See photos.Windows and window sills haven’t been cleaned for months if ever. All sorts of litter behind the sink.
2. Yes, you can hear everything from the rooms above above you. We never complain and stayed in dozens of hotels around the world and London but this sound isolation system isn’t up to minimum standards.
3. Room has no window. If not fan on the ceiling ( which was an amazing bonus in the heat) the room would feel scary and suffocating- NO shelves, NO wardrobes. Its literally just the bed.
4. The whole outside and Reception- people smoking, drinking, chatting at 23.40 right on the hotel steps, not safe. My 8 year old was scared.
5. Lifeless and empty not welcoming Reception. I mean decorum and outlook. IF NOT friendly Maria and Staff We would NOT stay that night. I will actually look into COMPENSATION . I never claimed and always positive but the state of the bathroom and hotel is beyond.
