I would like to thank Christopher from the front desk as he he was very proactive and changed our room due to a wedding happening in the hotel that night and he wanted us to be away from the noise.
Karla at the front desk is an amazing person with great customer service skills, she provides quick solutions to guest inquires. She is mastering her role, and very helpful in providing information.
Hotel was perfect! Close to ferry, gorgeous view of NYC, great breakfast, customer service was top tier.

The manager and the staff whoever controls the bookings have been intentionally dodging my request for change in checkout date to one day earlier due to change in travel plans so that they don’t have to refund me the amount for one night.
Booking.com confirmed that they sent the request many times and called the property many times to allow this change due to change in my travel plans. Booking.com mentioned that I would get the refund as soon as property replied. But this hotel kept dodging all calls and emails from booking.com. Even when I checked in, I reminded the person at the counter to reply to my date change request. And the reply I got was “it is totally up to the manager to accept or decline”. Assuming it is that flexible to make the change, for the manager to not reply to booking.com until 5 days later, really leaves a bad taste overall and tells me that he value 1 night’s room revenue over a long term business from a guest. I don’t think the hotel manager represents the Marriott hospitality values well.
Al principio nos asignaron una habitación , que estaba muy bien , grande y cómoda pero las cortinas de las ventanas no funcionaban . Esperamos casi una hora para que vengan a ver y al final nos asignaron otra . Sugerencia deben tener mejor control de calidad y supervisión de que todo funcione en las habitaciones . No es un hotel barato
Horrible. You have to pay for parking when I already paid 800 dollars to stay at the hotel. You can't leave the parking garage without paying. The sign says if you park there for 15 minutes it is free. Well it's not. We put our stuff in the room and was there for less than 15 minutes and still had to pay 22 bucks to get out. The living room was burning up hot and the air didn't work. So at night my kids were burning up. Our view in the room was a construction site because they were building a new hotel probably next to the Marriott. And the front desk girl had on way too much blush and she was rude. It made me not want to stay. The elevator situation is just plain stupid. The bartender was also rude at the hotel bar. My husband and I sat down at the bar to get a drink and he never came to us. He stood there talking to some other customers while we sat there waiting. So we left and went to the restaurant The Highlife I believe which was great. The parking garage was a mess we could not even throw our trash in the can because it was full. My family and I will NEVER be staying at another Marriott Bonvoy. This is why I only choose Hilton's. At the Hilton parking is free and the breakfast is better. Lesson learned NEVER again.
