Staff disappeared after we checked in. Martello or The Palm down the road would have been a better spot to stay.
Pros:

It was a great location and cute house

Cons:

The staff was missing after we checked in. I had booked 2 twin beds, but our room only had a double bed. I couldn’t find a person again our entire stay to speak to and get this corrected.

Instead of staying in Dublin when arriving and departing , we stayed in Bray. It was 40 minutes from the airport.
Pros:

Bray is a Party Town, but this hotel was quiet. I woke up to the sounds of birds and ocean. Loved the food in the restaurant. It was within walking distance of the town, across the street of the beach. This hotel had parking. Bray is difficult to find parking in. Well worth the 20e a day. It is a historic building. The shower water was strong and hot.

Overall it’s a quirky Hotel if your on more of a budget worth the stay.
Pros:

Great Location, not far from Train station, shops or food options close to the sea.

Cons:

Service clean after 3 days, out of 4 staying could be better

Leider sehr dünne Wände – die Bar im Erdgeschoss ist deutlich zu hören, an Schlaf kaum zu denken.

A really interesting place to stay in the charm of the seaside resort of Bray
Pros:

This is a fascinating, quirky and eccentric property, full of Oscar Wilde references as it was built by his parents. It is excellently run and the staff were delightful. Despite the liveliness of the restaurant and bar underneath, the hotel was completely soundproofed and we enjoyed a quiet and comfortable night’s sleep.

Cons:

We would perhaps have preferred to have breakfast within the hotel rather than in the more public spaces of the restaurants underneath it but this is a small quibble.

The hotel was quirky but ok and were it is situated brilliant

Cons:

There was no light working in bathroom also the tv wouldn't work no cable or WiFi for tv to work also the main lights didn't work but bed was comfortable

Did not get to stay as Booking.com cancelled our booking
Pros:

The Stand Hotel manager tried to help us find another Hotel as Booking.com cancelled our stay at the Strand. He offered us coffee and juice while we waited to location another hotel. The manager stated that booking.com over booked their rooms at the Strand which resulted in our reservation being cancelled by booking.com on the day of our arrival.

Cons:

Booking.com over booked the Strand hotel and cancelled our room during our drive to Bray. When we arrived at the Strand, our booking was cancelled by Booking.com with zero notice. They canceled our booking on the same day we were travelling to the Strand. We had to find other accommodations on a Friday of a weekend. We made our booking over a month prior to arriving through booking .com.
