The hotel was quirky but ok and were it is situated brilliant

There was no light working in bathroom also the tv wouldn't work no cable or WiFi for tv to work also the main lights didn't work but bed was comfortable

Did not get to stay as Booking.com cancelled our booking
Pros:

The Stand Hotel manager tried to help us find another Hotel as Booking.com cancelled our stay at the Strand. He offered us coffee and juice while we waited to location another hotel. The manager stated that booking.com over booked their rooms at the Strand which resulted in our reservation being cancelled by booking.com on the day of our arrival.

Cons:

Booking.com over booked the Strand hotel and cancelled our room during our drive to Bray. When we arrived at the Strand, our booking was cancelled by Booking.com with zero notice. They canceled our booking on the same day we were travelling to the Strand. We had to find other accommodations on a Friday of a weekend. We made our booking over a month prior to arriving through booking .com.

Zimmer ok, Lage an der Sterandpromenade

Cons:

Massive Geruchsbelästigung durch altes Fritierfett aus der Küche im ganzen Haus und Umgebung , in der Bar bis Mitternacht Discomusik in höchster Lautstärke, Das Restaurant dadurch absolut nicht empfehlenswert. Zum Frühstück (inklusive) selbst Orangensaft extra berechnet.

Bray was a lovely beach town with stunning views of the of the Irish Sea.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable and the decor was amazing. Closet in the room was ample. I loved that each room had a book title as well as a number.

Cons:

The bathroom was a little small and I could not figure out how to turn on the towel warmer.

Pros:

the location is great and the staff member that cleaned the rooms was very kind. bed is comfortable.

Cons:

the other staff members where not too kind. the greasy smell from the restaurant comes in the room when windows open. also it all felt kinda outdated and the (originally beautiful) house needs a lot of work to be done, you can see all the cheaply done fixes. electricity didn't work right in the room and the water sometimes switched of for a few minutes. so all in all okay to stay but waayyy to expensive.

Pros:

Absolutely wonderful stay at The Strand Hotel Bray. Beautiful seafront location with stunning views directly across from the promenade. The hotel has a unique charm and character, especially with its Oscar Wilde history.
The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything needed. Breakfast was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious, and the restaurant food in the evening was excellent as well.
The atmosphere throughout the hotel feels warm, relaxed, and genuinely family-run. A perfect place for a peaceful getaway by the sea. We will certainly return again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bray or Wicklow.

Buisness Stay
Pros:

Clean accommodation, fabulous food, helpful staff, and a fast check-in. Overall, it was a very good stay. A family-run property is always a better choice, as they genuinely make every effort to look after their guests.

Cons:

Parking is limited, however the overall experience was excellent.

FAULTY TOWERS ON STEROIDS IN A GOOD WAY! YOU'RE GOING YO LOVE IT.
Pros:

The nostalgia of the building and its quirkyess, a bit like staying at faulty towers.

Cons:

No phones in room for calling down and no room service for after hour drinks. The main entrance room doors need attention. It doesn't feel secure.
