Great location great food, great staff
Pros:

The room was quite small for a couple, more in line with a single person perhaps fishing or working in the area, the food is first class all freshly cooked and great portions, i would recommend the Scallop starter, best I have ever had and i have eaten in some top hotels

Leuk authentiek hotel. Prima als je op doorreis bent.
Pros:

Leuk authentiek hotel. We hadden een kamer in een gebouw buiten het hotel, maar dit was prima.
Vriendelijk personeel. Heerlijk eten, zowel ontbijt als diner. Kamer was ruim, netjes en schoon.

Beautiful building, lovely staff, great room and good food. Relaxed lounge areas for pre and after dinner

Cons:

Very unruly child in restaurant that ruined the peace, parents oblivious and staff allowed her to jump all over the furniture trying to get attention. I do wish staff felt able to quietly comment but this no longer seems allowable in today’s society. Hard bed and pillow let down an otherwise perfect stay

A Real Find
Pros:

Location. It was just where we wanted it to be. Excellent corner room. Nice sheets, pillows etc. Excellent bathroom too. Massive shower pressure. Nice dinner. Outstanding breakfast cooked to order. Huge & safe carpark. Quiet. Overall very good value for money.

Mooi en gezellig hotel op een mooie locatie.
Pros:

De ligging naast de Thurso rivier is prachtig. Een perfecte uitvalsbasis voor het noordoosten van Schotland. Lekker eten en een sfeervolle lobby en restaurant.

Cons:

Badkamer is schoon, maar is wel echt aan vervanging toe. Past biet bij de rest van het hotel.
