The carpets in the room needs to be changed into beautiful tiles. The maintenance and cleanliness of carpet is very difficult. As compared to tiles.

La chambre était confortable et bien équipée (frigo bar, bouilloire, télé, climatisation), mais elle était vétuste

The setting is amazing.
The the compound is safe and the seaview is awsome.
However, the overall hotel is in need of a face-lift, and some of the areas have been lost due to erosion. Rehabilitition of parts of the hotel is in order.
The food is nice and not very expensive. Snacks and full dishes are available at +/-12€ per person.
The swimming pool although in need of a general surface renewal, was clean and the water well treated.
Nice stuff at the breakfast (you won't find bacon - all is halal)
It is a shame that the peers to the oceanside are destroyed. Hopefully one day it will be renewed.
Hotel staff could also be more aware of the cleanliness around the hotel, mainly the areas not so visible to the general public.
TV channels are very poor... just 3 or 4 and only French.
Unfortunately, the Anse Bernard beach is not proper. Like in most African countries people litter a lot, and that ends up damaging the whole environment.
Didn't bathe... just went to get my feet wet and get out.
