HOTEL AMANEK Asakusa Ekimae

Purtroppo la camera era eccessivamente piccola, impossibile muoversi ed impossibile aprire le valigie, è stata una sofferenza. Non consiglio solo la la dimensione della stanza, mi dispiace per tutto il resto, lo staff è stato comunque molto gentile

La habitación triple tenía el aire acondicionado estropeado el primer día, como alternativa nos ofrecieron dos habitaciones dobles en diferentes plantas del hotel y que nos repartiéramos, pero íbamos con nuestra hija menor y eso era un gran problema, también porque desplegar todo el equipaje y encontrar las cosas de cada uno, no era viable, estaba todo mezclado porque íbamos en familia y encima las habitaciones eran minúsculas para estar metiendo y sacando cosas de las maleras. Así tuvimos que quedarnos en la triple sin aire y en Tokio el calor y la humedad son sofocantes, no durmimos nada la primera noche y encima íbamos con jet lug del vuelo desde España de más de 20 horas. El día siguiente estábamos hechos polvo y además nos hicieron perder mucho tiempo el día de la llegada por el problema de las habitaciones, lo que causó que no nos diera tiempo a visitar los monumentos previstos. Solicitamos una compensación acorde, pero el hotel nos ofrecía como compensación los sobres de té que regalan en las habitaciones, ni descuento, ni nada que compensara la situación debidamente, obviamente les dijimos a amablemente que se quedaran con su té. La excusa que nos dieron para no aplicar descuento de compensación, fue que al haber reservado y pagado con Booking, no podían hacer nada. En fin, que a pesar de las vistas de la terraza, el balance no nos compensó la pérdida de tiempo y el cansancio sufridos, es una falta de respeto considerable a huéspedes que van desde tan lejos, así no recomiendo el hotel para familias en habitación triple porque se exponen a este de situación.

The room. It was quite terrible, actually. This was the most expensive hotel of my entire trip (stayed at 4 hotels in total) and it was so small it was laughable. Typically, tiny little rooms can make up for it if they're packaged well. This one was not. It was impossible to move around and it felt like the last thing they had in mind was ease of use. Why does the bathroom door open outwards? Why is it a gamble whether you get a decent room or not? Why are you paying so much for a room that gives you a clear view of a concrete wall immediately outside of your window? This hotel was a struggle and I was counting down the nights until we left. The room was also the dirtiest and felt the most run down compared to its cheaper alternatives. This should not reflect the hard work and professionalism of the staff, however. They were all wonderful and kind and did whatever they could to help us no matter how we needed or what hour of the night it was. They were a highlight.

The size of the room is a little tough for two people with two big luggages, but I think this is an average size in Tokyo hotels for that range.
