Overpriced and needs renovations badly

Scenic lake front location, near the town center. Private parking.

Cons:

Despite charging very high prices, the hotel is very dated and needs renovations badly. Our room had a musty smell. The tiny lift was ancient and creaky. There was no anti slip mat in the shower. The breakfast menu was very limited.

Wir haben uns nicht wohlgefühlt und einen vergleichsweise hohen Zimmerpreis bezahlt.
Pros:

Das Personal an der Rezeption und im Restaurant war freundlich. Dabei handelte es sich um eine Person.

Cons:

Das gesamte Objekt war stark in die Jahre gekommen und teilweise verschlissen, wie die Armaturen im Bad, Möbel und Fußböden. Zudem ermangelte es sich an Sauberkeit im Zimmer und Restaurant. Unser Zimmer mit Blick auf den Hinterhof war hellhörig; der Hinterhof erschreckend.

Great view, friendly staff… but very uncomfortable and needs a good deep clean

The people were really nice

Cons:

The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the room was dirty. The reused water bottles were dirty and not usable. We window handle was hanging off the window when we arrived and the toilet seat broken. The breakfast options were okay, but not cooked very good and were very limited with the time. Had to be done by 9 am

Pros:

Location was great. Room was a double family and with Loch view and was really nice, enough room and fairly quiet at the end of the corridor, even on the roundabout, the traffic noise was minimal.
Staff were really friendly throughout.

Cons:

Breakfast was ok, minimal of each and was luke warm the two mornings we ate, but it was still good

Spacious hotel, close to the road and the city - ideal for a quick stop in Fort William.
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Innenstadt und hat einen eigenen Parkplatz - ist zwar first-come-first-served, aber wir haben abends um 5 keine Probleme gehabt (Ende Mai). Das Frühstück war wirklich vielseitig und ausreichend. Das Personal war überaus zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Das Hotel (oder zumindest unser Zimmer) war sehr hellhörig und sowohl neben uns als auch über uns waren Familien mit Kindern - das Getrampel und Geschrei hat etwas genervt, aber es war auszuhalten, da wir eh nur kurz im Zimmer waren und nur 1 Nacht hier geschlafen haben

Lovely hotel
Pros:

Lovely view, clean, staff very friendly and helpful especially Rose Ann. Food was really nice, a good choice at the breakfast buffet. Decor was beautiful!
