Die (wie gewünscht) nahe beieinander liegenden gebuchten Zimmer in einem oberen Stockwerk
Die gute Lage zum Strand
Das Frühstück (besser als in Vorjahren, allerdings auch teurer)

Cons:

Beim Frühstück wären Kaffeekännchen schön, damit man nicht nach jeder Tasse auf den Service warten muss.

Onze droom is uitgekomen.
Pros:

Super vriendelijk, begripvol, behulpzaam personeel. We waren 50 jaar getrouwd. Op die dag lag ons bed bestrooid met bloemblaadjes in een hartvorm, een doos bonbons en een wenskaart. Attent! Omdat mijn echtgenote slecht ter been is (rollator) was het jammer dat de looppaden bij de strandtenten ophouden. We konden de zee niet bereiken. Uitgebreid ontbijt voortreffelijk maar wel "aan de prijs". Lang geleden, toen we nog goed bij kas waren, in het Palace hotel gelogeerd. We zagen Huis ter Duin aan de overkant en zeiden tegen elkaar dat we daar óóit nog een zouden willen verblijven. We hebben er ruim 30 jaar voor gespaard; gelukt! Niet slecht voor 2 boertjes uut 't Oost'n toch? ;-)

Rundum Wohlfühlgefühl direkt am Strand
Pros:

Es war ein rundum Wohlfühl Urlaub vom ersten Augenblick. Toller Empfang, Personal sehr freundlich, Lage perfekt. Nur das Zimmer und der Poolbereich ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, daher 9 von 10 Sternen. Aber alles mega sauber.

De locatie, parkeren voor de deur

Cons:

Het hotel is sterk verouderd. Het ontbijt niet toereikend en zelfs daar de glazen gebroken en stukken glas eruit waar dus niet op wordt gecontroleerd. Het hotel is zeer dringend aan renovatie toe en verdiend zeker niet een 5-sterren kwalificatie. Daarvoor missen simpelweg belangrijke elementen.

Lovely location, service could be improved
Pros:

The rooms very spacious and comfortable. All clean and tidy. Staff at the reception extremely friendly, yet the system underlying the reservations seemed to have been slow and challenging to navigate. It took quite some time to check in and even more to check out. Very good breakfast, although not a variety one would expect in a hotel of such rank. Lovely location and beautiful views.

Cons:

We explicitly asked for rooms located close to each other, as we were travelling as a family. This seemed to have been overlooked. Upon arrival, we wanted to relax at the Terrace Bar - it must have been a strange day, as all the orders seem to have gone wrong. We had to wait at least 30min for drinks, then our order was delivered to another table, the following order never arrived, in the end we cancelled it and left disappointed. Staff working there did their very best but somehow the organisation was just not right.
