Pros:

Value for money.

Great location - walkable to the beach although the roads are narrow and busy. Good restaurants & shops nearby. Auto rickshaw stand at the door.

Good breakfast. Great staff in the dining hall.

Rooms were clean, but all the chairs we saw in the building were stained.

Cons:

No space to stop the car and unload luggage. They should leave space free or have someone directing the cars. No one to help move bags to the lobby, no ramp to push bags up. Need to go up one floor to get to the lift. Need to ask for some basic amenities - they only gave one towel for a double room, weak wifi in rooms, bathroom ran out of shower gel etc. Too many steps make it tricky for seniors - you need to step up from the hallway to the rooms and from room to the bathroom.

I’ll be back next visit to Calicut
Pros:

The friendliness of the staff- even though I arrived at 4 in the morning.

Cons:

I would have liked cold milk available at breakfast time- for the cornflakes!!

Overall not a good stay and the property staff was not accessible and not customer friendly

Nothing was good about the property and lacked basic amenities

Cons:

The rooms had cockroaches, the hot water was not available at the bathrooms. The walls were not clean and the room was not worth for the amount charged as equal to 3 star hotel price
