Breakfast was good and the fitness studio was really well set up and clean. The staff were all friendly and very helpful.
A few things are beginning to look tired - just cosmetic stuff though. Our door had to be shoved hard with a shoulder to open it.

It was near downtown Iowa City, making it easy to get to Kinnick Stadium. The breakfast was better than most free breakfast offered at motels.
The price was ridiculously high! (Due to the home Iowa football game.) The room was extremely small. It was hard for all of us to even move around the room at the same time. There was water leaking from somewhere, making the carpet wet throughout our stay. I reported it, but they did not do anything about it. The parking lot was difficult. There were all 90* turns and tight maneuvering into the parking spots.

there’s nothing not to like the only concern we had is our door room 809 was hard to close and open.
The hotel room was great. The bed was really comfortable and there was plenty of room.
The parking garage is hard to locate. It's located on a dead end and there is construction. You can't just drive in the garage. There is a garage door that had to be opened.
Super clean room and the staff was friendly. They communicated clearly about where to park.
The elevator was a little sketchy.
The breakfast and the location were fine.
The only thing that could have been better is if you had had a whirlpool in addition to the small swimming pool.

Car got towed parked where they had signs for the Hyatt but didn’t park by the purple door. Paid for parking with the hotel and gave them my car license info but it didn’t stop the car from being towed. they should take down the Hyatt signs to make the parking situation less confusing. They said this hasn’t happened before but I talked with someone else it happened to. Had to find my car (they had no idea who towed it) get to the car and pay the impound fee
