Friendly staff, good location.
We had room 15. The window was incredibly small, meaning it was very hot. The temperature was around mid 20’s, however was rising later in the week to 30’s. I don’t think we would have been able to stay in the room at these temperatures if we were there then. We did have a fan, which we were very grateful for, but sleeping was difficult.
Lovely rooms and very clean. Staff Lovely. Car park around the back was first come 1st served which was great as we got there early and our room was ready. Breakfast great.
No air conditioning which would have helped as it Was 30 degrees. Had a fan which we had on all night. As with other Welsh hotels we stayed in, no fridge. Is this a Welsh thing? Is it because it's usually cold and wet?
Food was excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was good and we were thoughtfully provided with a fan in the hot weather. The lounge was comfortable and air conditioning which kept it cool.
The only thing that was problem was the steep stairs and no lift, but we were warned about this in advance.

Breakfast was amazing staff were lovely. The room needed 2 x chairs because where people have sat on the sides of the bed it had collapsed!! Very difficuld to sleep on .

Lovely restaurant serving good food with decent portions and staff were absolutely lovely
Very dated and tired. Things like lack of proper finishing of tiling, old appliances and tired decor let the rooms down. No air con also made the whole bedroom corridor stuffy and hot. Sleeping was hard.
