The room was super luxurious and modern. The shower first class and an all round delightful surprise as I remember the rooms to be tired and in need of upgrade. I would 100% recommend anyone to stay there and sit the added bones of near silent air conditioning units. Great breakfast reasonably priced and delicious and topped off with super friendly and accommodating staff and free parking. Well done Carre Arms.

The rooms are excellent, recently refurbished, air conditioning properly designed. The beds are incredibly comfortable and rooms are soundproofed. The menu is very good and staff attentive and lovely to deal with. The Bass cask ale was as good a pint as I have had in a long time.
The newly refurbed rooms make the bar and restaurant appear a little dated but they are due for an upgrade in the very near future.
Cosy place good food
convenient, station and an aldi within 1 min walk. restaurant attached serves LOVELY food. the room was outstanding, cleanliness and interior was just excellent.

No chairs in the room or small table wife had no where to put her cup of tea .
The rooms are beautifully designed, 5 stars decor. Very clean with all modern amenities. Loved having air conditioning, all tv channels and free WiFi. Friendly attentive staff. Delicious food.

Hotel was refurbished a few months ago, giving excellent bedrooms with air conditioning. A very useful lift installed to the first floor. Dining rooms light & airy, excellent food delivered by friendly staff. Plenty of car parking space
The breakfast was excellent value, but I was very disappointed at the absence of a cereal selection, which I consider is an important start to breakfast ( fibre & all that). Haven’t encountered this before, & commented to the young waitress. Add £2 to the price for this, & it’s still excellent value for money!
The room was fab and very clean but lacked toiletries, bath in the bedroom but no bubble bath or soaps , went and bought some 🙄. The room has been decorated recently to a high standard so very nice and also very spacious.
As above . Breakfast selection very poor and basic, just sone random shop bread with a couple of bits of fruit in a bowl , zero cereal selection or pastries which imho is being very tight , the restaurant needs seriously updating as it doesn’t match the feel of the room at all, our meal was also very basic and bland , we wouldn’t stay again in all honesty, Aldi right opposite also a put off ..
