Westin was a great choice for our family break.
Pros:

Our family of six stayed at The Westin Brisbane for five nights during our holiday to Australia, with two rooms on the fifth floor. The rooms were spacious, modern, very comfortable and beautifully presented.

The location was excellent for exploring Brisbane, and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. A special mention goes to the concierge team, particularly David, who consistently went above and beyond whenever we met him during our stay. Ben also deserves recognition for providing a warm and professional check-in experience.

The hotel bar is a lovely place to relax with a drink after a busy day of sightseeing. The staff were always on the ball - great service & friendly.

Our only minor criticism was the breakfast. Compared with other hotels on our trip, we felt the choice wasn’t as extensive, the food wasn’t quite as good, and the service was a little slow and disjointed.

Overall, this was a fantastic hotel and an excellent choice for our family. We’d happily stay here again and would highly recommend it.

After moving to the next hotel, we got the impression that we’d been ripped off.
Pros:

Good location, close to the river ( walk distance )

Cons:

Each additional service came at an extra cost. extra bed for a child +60 parking +60 per day . After that, we went to the center of the Gold Coast; all of that was free. For the winter season, a price of $1,000 a day (including extras) is clearly excessive for this hotel.

I would come back ONLY if the hotel lift up the quality of cleaning!
Pros:

The hotel is luxury and very comfortable. It's located in the heart of Brisbane CBD, easy access to a lot of attraction places, nice walk over the Southbank bridge to Parklands and restaurants. Also, surrounded with a lot of high quality cafes and restaurants. Much better than Sydney!

Cons:

Even the stay in general was comfortable and relaxing, there were quite a few things that house-keeping could've done better!
1. Room cleaning daily - waters didn't provided to the number of people stayed in the room
2. Room cleaning daily - amenities didn't refill on the daily basis either
3. Room cleaning daily - only the bed got folded nicely, tables and chair had been put back like the first day that I walked in, but I am 100% certain that there were no vacuuming done as I still see hairs around the toilet area!!!

Very helpful staff, the pool was unbelievable, to swim at 28 degrees in winter was amazing!
Pros:

The best breakfast we've ever had - from amazing green juice, staff making a special pot of ginger and lemon tea, as well as coconut yoghurt, fresh pancakes, they had the works!!
