Ivi Mare - Designed for Adults by Louis Hotels

This review is based purely on the Aegean Spa. I had two treatments here during my holiday and both were excellent. The Facial from Anju and the Calm Sea massage from Asmita were incredible. I’d had both again but sadly do t have time! I’d recommend to anyone visiting to visit the spa, eleven if just to take some solace from the heat and lie by the indoor pool to relax. The tea and juice post treatment and a lovely touch!

I had the most amazing facial massage here! Not only was it incredibly relaxing, but my skin was literally glowing right after. The therapist has magic hands and tailored the treatment to my skin's needs. If you want to pamper yourself and see real results, I highly recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay in the ivi mare,five star treatment,all the staff are kind ,warm and friendly pambos and Diane make you feel so welcome in the restaurant,and Kelly the towel pool lady went aboard beyond helping us with the bus .the food is delicious plenty for vegetarians .we had our wedding there with the stunning view behind us Anna took care of us and made sure we had a wonderful wedding.will definitely return to this stunning hotel in the future.

An enjoyable stay.

Despite being only a few miles from the airport, getting to the hotel can be quite expensive. The cheapest way is to use the (once an hour) 612 bus. There’s a large blue sign for the bus service as you exit the airport (directly opposite) with times on it.
There’s no clear bus stop, but if you wait at the sign, you’ll see it pull up from there.
It’s just €2 per person one way (cash only, but change given) Or €3 in the evening. It’s very fast and efficient and there’s a bus stop directly outside the hotel. You can also use taxis, or the Bolt app (no Uber), but you’re looking at €35 plus, minimum, and doesn’t really save much time.

Lovely warm check in. Very efficient and I was then taken to my room and shown the key features, which I liked.

There are two things I really want at every hotel - peace and quiet, and a great bed – and this had both. I slept exceptionally well and it was lovely and quiet. The pillow menu was a nice touch.

I had a room on the side of the hotel, so could see the sea from my balcony, but it was nice and quiet, so the best of both worlds. It’s clearly an older building that has been renovated, but there are a few signs of its age in places.

My room was lovely and clean, and the Air con was good. There was tea, coffee, water, and everything you could possibly need, including a small fridge.

The pool is amazing. Very large and doesn’t appear to be chlorinated, which was nice, so no horrible smell. The sunbeds are the most comfortable I’ve ever known, and plenty of them, so no rush to get down early.

The food is pretty good. I did half board which I strongly recommend. That gives you breakfast, and then a choice of either lunch or dinner. I liked that flexibility, and it meant I was not tied to the hotel for every single meal. Personally, I wouldn’t have wanted to have eaten every meal here.
The freshness of the buffet food can be a little hit and miss, although it seemed good quality.
The two specialist restaurants were okay. Tasty food, and a welcome change, but won’t be winning any awards. Personally, I preferred the Asian to the Cypriot.

They offer free bottled still/sparkling water with lunch and dinner, which is a lovely touch.

The service overall in the dining room at breakfast was definitely ‘creaking’ on the weekend when things were busier.

The Wi-Fi was particularly good in the rooms, although a little patchy around the pool area.

The staff were (generally) very good. Most seemed pleasant and genuinely friendly, although a couple were a little officious for my liking.
Stand out staff for me were the wonderful Christina in the Asian restaurant, and all the reception staff. The egg lady is amazing. Super smiley and did me perfect poached eggs every day, even when really busy.

The hotel exit next to the breakfast area needs to be made no smoking. Nothing more disgusting than having to endure smoke whilst trying to enjoy your breakfast.

They have a small gym. It’s fine for a workout, but will fell crowded with any more than a couple of people.

They have their own App, which is excellent. From that, you can order drinks to your sun-bed, view the menus, make a reservation for dinner etc. It really is a clever idea, and very well designed. I think you can even check in prior to arrival to save faffing around with forms on arrival.

What sets this hotel apart though is the attention to detail. The little touches, surprises, and gestures. I always like it when a hotel under promises and overdelivers, and this hotel did just that. But be realistic - it’s five star package holiday hotel, not the Ritz.

8 of us went for our daughter's wedding which took place in the hotel in June 26, the hotels location is great and the hotel was lovely. The food was fantastic with a different theme each evening, one guest was vegan and catered for very well.
The wedding took place in the hotel and Anna and her team exceeded any expectation we had and the hotel went over and above with lots of attention to detail. One evening of the wedding the hotel dressed a table for the wedding party which made a lovely end to a wonderful day. We couldn't have asked for a better day or anything more and thank everyone who made it happen.
We will be visiting this hotel again.

I can highly recommend the Aegeo Spa at this hotel, having been a fair few times before. I enjoyed a very relaxing 70 minute Cretan massage followed by a 15 minute mini facial, thank you to Anju who was an exceptional therapist xx

Wonderful stay with my friends celebrating our 40ths. Staff were all so friendly and helpful- Diana and Tom were excellent and my spa therapist Asmita was incredible! Hotel is beautiful, great location and very peaceful. Food is fresh and abundant and all inclusive deal was fabulous! Can’t wait to come back!

Fabulous hotel to stay in Cyprus, from check in to Check out the staff were friendly and helpful and nothing a problem.
Everything in the hotel from Food, drinks and sun beds around the pool were of great quality.
I would definitely return here should another trip to Cyprus to be in our planner.

We had the couples package consisting of an exfoliation followed by a full body massage. Our masseuse were Asmita and Anja - they were exceptional! Very professional, courteous and cheerful. We both thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to relax.
The facilities are also excellent, very clean and quiet.
