Tired room but staff nice
Pros:

Staff was really nice, girl at check in was lovely. Breakfast was pretty good too, although the coffee wasn't great.

Cons:

Paid £150 for one night and we were "upgraded" from a compact room to a family room. I think £70 would have been plenty for the standard of room delivered. Room 6 family room was quite poor. The floor joists in the bathroom sounded like they were going to collapse into the floor below had buckled through parts of the floor covering. There were suspicious splashes on the bathroom walls which were blood coloured. There was no mirror or dressing table despite being a decent sized family room. Nice view over courtyard. Bed was pretty hard. No pillow protectors under pillowcases and they were quite stained and could've done with a wash. Pretty tired decor.

We were only staying for one night but would certainly stay here again if stopping in the area.
Pros:

Staff were friendly and helpful, good breakfast and dinner with plenty to eat. Quiet location but close to amenities.

Cons:

Furnishings are a bit dated, could do with refurbishing but this is reflected in the price.

Great stay to get away, will be back again one day
Pros:

Lovely stay, great sized room with massive TV and lovely bath to relax in. Only downfall was the bathroom had a slight smell of hospitals, but shows how clean it was I suppose

Great location with beautiful garden
Pros:

A gorgeous old hotel…a little tired but excellent spot with a beautiful garden. Rooms are a reasonable size and bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast great.

Cons:

Very noisy shower.

Pros:

The staff here are wonderful and a real asset to the hotel. We had a small problem with our room and they were fantastic. All sorted quickly and without fuss. We slept well as the room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was great with a good range of food available. We were with our dogs, who the kind and helpful staff fussed over and gave sausage to at breakfast. A truly dog-friendly hotel!

Die Zimmer wurden offensichtlich erst renoviert und wirken freundlich.
Die Eigentümerin ist wunderbar und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war o.k.

Booked for 2 rooms and management refuses to credit my card!
Pros:

Samantha very friendly upon check in process. I explained to her that Booking had booked 2 rooms for the night and asked her to cancel one. Room was fine and breakfast was great!

Very enjoyable
Pros:

Location was very good and perfect for the event we attended less than a mile away.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was very good and dining room was quiet
Easy parking, lovely surroundings
Heating in room was very effective

Cons:

Bedroom & bathroom were both a fantastic size but window frames could have been cleaner- there was mould around the window frames.
Strangely although the room was cleaned daily the bed was not made

The staff were very attentive and helpful and the room and stay was otherwise great.

Cons:

The mattress was really hard and uncomfortable and the flush on toilet was loose.
I also thought the cooked breakfast was extremely greasy.
