We absolutely loved L’oscar! My best friend and I took a girls trip to London to celebrate our summer birthdays and were delighted to stay there. We so appreciated the generous staff, especially Shifaz, who helped us daily. All the staff remembered our names, our plans, and were eager to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. The hotel is beautifully appointed and the rooms offered every amenity. Breakfast each morning and room service at night were exceptional. The location was perfect for us, as we wanted to shop and see the theatre. If we wanted to see another part of the city, that was always an option as the tube was very close. Would highly recommend!

Ian was really kind and helpful and he even let me ring the bell. The ice cream was also delicious . Marcus aged 11.

My daughter and I stayed at L’oscar London, and it was one of the best things about our visit to this city. It is well located steps away from Holborn station and in pretty part of the city. In addition to the beauty of the building, the food and service were exquisite. All staff seemed to bring genuine joy to their jobs, and we have never received so much kind attention! Toni, in particular, was always there for us and went above and beyond to make sure we felt safe and secure. I can’t say enough about the comfort and quality of L’oscar.

We stayed here for 6 nights and had an absolutely excellent stay. Recently renovated, the room was very clean, comfortable and typically larger than the average London hotel room. Location is very central. Service was excellent. Tony was wonderful in helping us arrange transportation. Overall, an excellent value for a high cost city like London.

Had a wonderful stay in July 2026 celebrating my husband’s upcoming “0” birthday. Service by all team members was top notch, and we especially enjoyed Toni and appreciated all of his help during our stay. Will definitely be back!

My visit in March was so pleasant that I decided to return. Once again I found this an amazing hotel, small, quiet but within walking distance of all the major attractions or else by bus/tube right outside the door. The staff is amazing, the ambience perfect and overall the perfect stay during a busy time of year. I stayed in a junior suite which was much larger than the standard London hotel room.
Don't ignore the wonderful breakfasts which are delicious, varied and plentiful, and keep you going the whole day.
Thoroughly recommend, is now my go-to place in London

Fabulous small hotel in a convenient London location. Lovely rooms. Great hotel restaurant. Best part is a superb staff that goes out of the way to make your stay special. Special kudos to Tony.

Service was outstanding. Toni was exceptionally attentive. Also the breakfast was really good both from a food and atmosphere standpoint.

L’oscar was a wonderful experience They when out of their way to accommodate after I got out of the hospital. Your hotel ranks at the top of our short list of top hotels. The staff could not have done more than they did. Thanks for an unforgettable experience.

My husband had to be hospitalized while we were there and while we were supposed to leave Monday they were able to accommodate us for a few extra days until he was released from hospital.
I cannot say enough about Tony and Michaela and their attentiveness and caring. They went above and beyond. They were wonderful

The staff were all fantastic, specifically management's friendly greetings and attention to detail in the restaurant during the late mornings, as well as George who was absolutely lovely when we arrived. He got us seated in the opulent yet airy sitting room and brought snacks and drinks so we could unwind from the journey before showing us to our beautiful room. He told us a few historical facts about the hotel & our accomodations which was awesome. The room itself was so gorgeous & unique -- we definitely want to come back next time we visit London. Sound doesn't travel through the walls at all & they have city windows installed over the original frame to preserve the aesthetics but block out street noise. Finally, Toni was extremely helpful; we had quite a bit of luggage to deal with and he happily stored it for the day. When we came back earlier than we told him, he promptly helped get each bag into a cab that he flagged down for us. It made the stressful jumble of checking out very seamless. I can't say enough good about L'oscar!

Our 4 days at L’Oscar was fabulous! The boutique hotel is plush, gorgeous, and welcoming. Everyone we encountered was professional but so friendly, including Michaela who brought our breakfast and Tony the doorman. We were treated with such great attention….like we were their favorite hotel guests.
The hotel used to be a Baptist church and has been converted to a boutique hotel. It has so much character and charm! We will definitely be back again!

After 2 weeks traveling through Europe on our honeymoon and a long travel day, the staff at L’Oscar were the most welcoming of our entire trip. The atmosphere of the lounges, restaurant and especially our room was luxurious and perfect for us. The location was central to many shops and a tube station was just at the corner! We look forward to returning again.

Such a lovely hotel and the hospitality was exceptional, from the front desk who greeted us with champagne and pastries, the restaurant staff that treated us like 👑, housekeeping that kept our room spotless with little treats every evening to Toni who helped with bags, taxis and honest advice. Can't wait to visit London again and for sure will be booking L'Oscar.
