Pros:

We have never been to or stayed somewhere where all the staff from reception, to bar and domestic staff had exceptional

It did the job it needed to but the price would put us off staying again.
Pros:

The location is great, very central location with lots of amenities in walking distance. Property is a gorgeous building and everything was decorated really well. Staff were friendly, beds were comfortable. I liked that you got fresh milk in the fridge instead of packet milk!

Cons:

The floor in our room which I think was number 3 had a thick dust on it. Our white socks quickly went black and when I walked round with bare feet I had to use a towel to scrub the dust off. Our bathroom had a really strong cabbage smell which was most likely from the drains. We paid £380 for two nights. I thought this was a lot considering you don’t get breakfast included in that!

We were in an attic room. Didn’t like the low eaves. Air conditioning was a necessity.

Pros:

The staff were incredibly helpful & friendly.

Cons:

We took our large dog, but the bed for the dog was tiny so we had to use blankets, consequently it was a pain trying to keep dog off the furniture as she was uncomfortable.
The music from the hotel down the road went on until 0100 hrs, with cars with noisy exhausts going up & down the road frightening the dog who kept bolting into the ensuite to escape the noise. We did complain about the noise & as there was a mix over whether we had included breakfast we were given complimentary breakfasts which was appreciated. If you go with a dog, take your own dog bed!

Overall a fantastic hotel to stay in with a just a short walk into the town and
Pros:

Everything about the hotel was excellent, location in the centre was a bonus. All staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The room was very clean with all the requirements for a short stay.

Cons:

Unfortunately for the fleece hotel guests a nearby bar plays loud music outside until closing time which could put guests off a possible return visit.
