Categories

Cleanliness

Rooms repeatedly described as clean, but multiple mentions of mildew/odor in a hallway and chlorine-smelling water from an ice/water dispenser create mixed impressions.
Service
9.8
Staff consistently praised as friendly and helpful with multiple shout-outs to specific agents (Stacey); valet noted as easy. Minor critique that some front desk staff lacked local restaurant/activity knowledge.
Location
10
Location repeatedly called 'perfect' or 'very close' to venues, midtown attractions, Arts Center/light-rail and beach — overwhelmingly strong location sentiment.

Rooms described as well-appointed: comfortable mattresses, good showers and water pressure, blackout curtains and useful in-room features (Nespresso). A few accessibility/elevator placement issues noted.

Positive mentions of in-room Nespresso, bikes, quick elevators and helpful extras; some amenity issues noted (older bikes, bike chain problems, chlorine-smelling ice/water).
Value for Money
6.8
Multiple comments calling the hotel overpriced and noting steep parking fees or limited value from food/beverage credits — value perception is a clear weak point.
Food and Beverage
7.9
Restaurant received criticism and guests noted F&B credits didn’t go far; staff did provide bottled water when dispenser tasted of chlorine.

Excellent accommodations; made even better by the warm welcome and friendly assistance provided by Stacey.
Pros:

The midtown location is wonderful for strip to Atlanta. This was my second time staying at this hotel. The first time I chose it for location; the second for the location and service.

Cons:

I stayed in a wheelchair accessible room and I believed it was placed a bit far from the elevator.

Perfectly fine
Pros:

Staff was very friendly.
Valet parking was easy.
Received water upon check-in.

Cons:

The scent in the lobby, while nice initially, was overpowering. Very expensive for what we got. Restaurant wasn’t great. Front desk folks didn’t really know much about restaurants around the hotel, or specific activities…ie Dior exhibit.

Great stay at a convenient mid-town, mid-level hotel
Pros:

We enjoyed a short stay at this mid-level hotel located about 2-3 blocks away the Arts Center light-rail station and the High Art Museum. It proved to be convenient and well-located for our purposes (we needed to be in mid-town). The hotel seems to be well-run and the staff was friendly and efficient. (Special shout-out to Stacey at the front desk who tried her best to help us when we had a "left something in the Uber" mishap during our stay.)

Our king room was decently sized and equipped with all of the usual amenities, including a Nespresso coffee-maker (so great to see more American hotels going with a Nespresso-type coffee maker rathe than bleh Keurig or the old fashioned coffee filter-basket-type makers). The shower was a good size and delivered better than average water pressure.

Due to our Diamond Honors status, we got $15 each per day in food/beverage credit but this only went about half-way at the restaurant on the first floor. One comment about the availability of water through a dispenser connected to the ice maker on our (15th) floor: the water had a strong chlorine smell so we had to rely on bottled water, of which the staff was happy to provide extras.
