Great food , great location and great staff
Unfortunately we didn’t have long enough there we arrived late and left early due to prior commitments. Really lovely place to stay would highly recommend.

The house was spotlessly clean and ideal for meeting with family.
Driving out onto the main road is a bit tricky. Perhaps a mirror on the other side of the road might be helpful.

Brilliant welcome from Demi., lovely lunch. As we arrived early our room preparation was prioritised so that we could check in after lunch.
Room was large and only lacked a hair dryer to make it better.
Evening meal was equally good, and the fuss and care for our little dog was wonderful
Ideal place for an overnight stay.
The Shoulder don’t provide breakfast, but Clay Cross provide two options, 10 minutes away,, of which Poppy's Cafe was the one we chose- great.
Pub was excellent location as we attend a function there.

The pillows were extremely hard and made it difficult to have a comfortable nights sleep
Called for lunch, sat in the sun beautiful day. Ordered pie of the day which was steak & ale. Got to be the best pub food I have had. I am quite particular on eating pie, this was beautiful served with fresh vegetables. Plate was hot the meal was hot. Service was excellent cannot fault the place at all. Will definitely return
The friendliness of the staff. I couldn’t check in as I was at a wedding but they made it very easy for me to gain access to my room. It was clean and comfortable. And like a mini apartment. I was very happy with it.
