I couldn't come up with any significant drawbacks other than the relatively high price. The guest room was in an excellent condition: spacious room size, high level cleanliness, a comfortable full-size bed, and a good-sized bathroom providing shower and skincare products. I also appreciated the high quality coffee machine provided in the room. The reception staff were professional, friendly, and welcoming. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Zaandam Station, where I took Sprinter for quick access to Amsterdam Central Station, Zaanse Schans, and Schiphol Airport. Overall, I had an enjoyable stay there.

I liked the location. convenient to train and shops. good size room with aircon.

Wanted to treat my son after he finished his exams and he decided on a short trip to Amsterdam. I also let him choose the hotel and I have to say he picked well. The hotel was easy to get to from the airport and Amsterdam Centraal station, and in a quieter area outside of the city which was perfect for the two of us. The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were amazing, every member of staff was friendly, professional and any request was taken care of. Being able to store our luggage before check in and after check out meant we could really make the most of our time and visit all of the attractions on our list. We did not eat in the restaurant due to our long list and limited time so I can't review the food but I did treat myself to a drink each evening at the bar after a busy day and found this to be a very relaxing environment which was the perfect way to unwind before climbing into a very comfy bed. The lady in reception also gave us some tips on transport options which reduced the amount of walking needed to reach attractions which was a great help. If you are looking for a comfortable place to rest your head while visiting Amsterdam and don't want to be surrounded by the noise in the city centre or the planes coming and going from the airport then you can't go wrong here. The friendly staff really are a credit to this hotel and help to make your stay really enjoyable. Thank you to everyone at Zaan hotel for helping to make our stay enjoyable and allowing us to focus on making memories.

het buffet ontbijt was perfect. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk. Het avondeten in het restaurant was voortreffelijk.

De badkamer was helemaal in orde.

Amazing airco despite the heat and very friendly staff who were able to check us in a bit early. Comfy beds and clean bathroom. Breakfast was decent with different options. Plus, close to the train station.

The room was spacious and clean and the air conditioning was wonderful in the heat! This was my second stay here and I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a good deal who doesn't mind spending 10 minutes on a train.

Struttura accogliente e posizionata strategicamente vicino alla stazione ferroviaria di Zaandam ( 5 minuti a piedi) . Da qui Amsterdam si raggiunge in 10 minuti.
