This place is a real gem.
Pros:

Fantastic location. We were stunned to realise that we were only a 10 minute walk (if that) to the Louvre. The staff were so attentive, polite, happy and considerate. Delicious breakfast everyday. Fresh cheeses and freshly baked bread and croissants with eggs, sausages, cold beats fruit etc etc! Lovely coffee. All staff really great, Jurgen the night staff was especially wonderful! Great team, soft bedding, toiletries divine. Gorgeous Boutique style. Will return. Thank you.

fantastic location ; i definitely recommend Hotel des Marronniers
Pros:

the location is fantastic; near Quai de la Seine ; it is actually in Saint Germain, a chic district; near the main touristic attractions like Louvre, jardin de Tuilleries, ecc ; easily reachable from Gare du nord/de l;est by bus 39; nice and available staff at the reception. the internal decor is very pleasant. and elegant; ; in the bathroom , good pressure of hot water under the shower.

there was nothing that i did not like

My stay was everything I hoped for and more.
Pros:

Lovely staff, nice breakfast in the court yard, great location

Cons:

Rooms are small, however very clean. I was a single occupant in the room and it was fine, it would have been somewhat tight with a second person and more luggage.

Loved it, loved the area and will return!

The charm, location and its staff.

Cons:

For me everything was great. As a reader of reviews I must qualify that tall and or obese people should consider carefully as everything is small and at 5’11 190lbs I had to slide sideways thru the shower door opening in order to fit. Toilet seat is small and anyone over 6’4 will suffer to sit on the toilet as the distance from seat to wall is short.

Quaint hotel in the perfect neighborhood. The garden is perfect.

Cons:

I wish there was a steamer in the room and a more updated hair dryer. Like most Paris hotels, it’s hard to get ice. I wish there was at least one ice machine available for guests. It’s hard to chill down champagne in your room.
