Really nice room. Great location. Comfy bed
We’ve stayed a few times now and would definitely recommend it, whether staying over or just visiting the bar area.
Only issue: in Room 6 the heating was too hot and neither of us nor the staff could turn it down. It got so warm it made us feel unwell, but they were great and moved us to another room straight away.

Room and hotel all quite modern and looked relatively new. Nice decor and good facilities in the room. Little kitchenette was ideal and the delivery of continental breakfast to the room was a nice touch I'd never experienced before. The bar and restaurant downstairs were also modern, reasonably priced and good atmosphere. Staff were friendly and accomodating.
Only one very minor point, we experienced quite a lot of noise from the street, the location is a town centre with pubs all around.

Great central location! Room was very spacious
Presumably all the staff park in the car park (as most had driven off by about 11pm when we were returning from dinner) so there wasn’t any space, which was frustrating as the car park is advertised for customers. We did find a pay and display nearby though so parked there instead - but definitely research a nearby parking location and don’t rely on the car park.
The shower thermostat didn’t turn colder and it was set at scalding hot - too hot to hold your hand under never mind shower. There were no staff available to speak to about this so we had to send a message after checking out (no staff at checkout, it’s a key drop) and they said they’d look into it so hopefully that has been rectified. Other than that, the room was spacious and clean and great value for money.
Everything that we needed and more! Very comfortable bed and great shower.
