There wasnt anything to dislike
Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We got married at the hotel and the staff just could not do enough foe us. The food was amazing. Everything perfect. Cannot fault it at all.
We had our own designated parking space due to the wedding but the entrance to the car park is incredibly tight. Not a criticism at all just an observation.
Beautiful place ,calm and restful. Food was beautiful and staff gave an old fashioned courteous customer focused service

Everything was excellent - from the location, the hotel itself, and the food and drink.
ALL the staff were excellent, but I must name the following who were so friendly and helpful at all times:
Phillipa, Tani, Vaughan and Ian in the restaurant;
Roctheo and Gabby in the Bar.

Superb location in Seaview
Detached accommodation where you have to cross a courtyard for meals
Great location close to the seaside with access to coastal path for walking.
Room was not huge but very clean, nice comfortable bed with good linen & had everything you might need including an ironing board !
Nice area to sit outside in evening for drinks.
Breakfast served in sunny room with cereals /fruit/ yoghurt & lots of cooked options.
All staff throughout the hotel were helpful & smiling.
We had supper on one evening & sadly waited a long time for the food which was of a very average quality, nevertheless we really enjoyed our stay.
Comfortable, well appointed room, very nice staff, excellent food, very nice hotel.
Everything was excellent but we were slightly disappointed that the sea view was not what we had expected - we could see the sea but only by looking round the corner.

Plumbing a bit noisy but in someways it added to the old school charm
My gluten free diet was well catered for.
Loved the choice of breakfasts especially The Seaview Sailor.
Loved the meals in The Pump Room.
The lounge was really relaxing.
There could have been a few more games to play in The Lounge. Scrabble and a pack of cards maybe.
