I had a lovely pub meal Ribs and Chips.
The proximity to the house I was moving from nearby.
After my 1st night I discovered the shower was inoperable and asked to be moved to another room - from then on I was an enemy of that staff member although I tried to be friendly. I was booked for 19 nights and stayed only 6 - I couldn't stand anymore. The staff and clientele downstairs are all rough as guts all swearing with no manners drunks & drug addicts getting thrown out with limited security on hand. The bathrooms are in dire need of renovation and a good disinfecting. I tried to pay for my Keno with a bag of predominantly gold coins about $30 worth and the "what'll be dahl" lady would not take my coins - her exact words to me were "I'm not going to take your sh*t" and she was a manager!.. Upon checking out I was advised some sort of refund will be processed to my credit card but after all this time I won't hold my breath.. How the Nightcap brand could have anything at all to do with Chardons Corner Hotel downstairs baffles me......
The room was ok.
We arrived around 7pm, but the hotel car park was full. I spoke with a staff member, and she advised us to find off-street parking, even though the booking confirmation stated “Includes 1 parking spot”.
We spent around 30 minutes looking for street parking, which was quite far from the hotel. This was very inconvenient, especially as we had booked the room expecting a guaranteed parking space.
Convenience for my stay.
Basic, diety stairs, bit of a rabbit warren. Have been around, l could accept, you had want to be tough, without better experiences.
No worries, slept well, noise traffic early morning...
Everything

The room smelt strongly of cigarette and bed seemed to have bed bugs

Convenience for what I was doing in Brisbane. Great staff. Veer was cold at the end of the day.
Comfy bed, clean and great for a nights stay.
Couple of maintenance issues - tap broken on shower, only one main light which was quiet dull.
