Well maintained artistic property

Mi estancia en Casa Carmen fue buena en general, pero lamentablemente la experiencia terminó de una manera muy desagradable.

Al terminar nuestra estancia nos informaron que nos harían un cargo por una supuesta llave digital que, según su personal, se encontraba en la habitación. Les expliqué que esa llave nunca estuvo ahí y que en ningún momento me fue proporcionada. Durante toda nuestra estancia utilizamos exclusivamente el código numérico que nos dieron para acceder a la habitación.

A pesar de mi explicación, decidieron realizar el cargo basándose únicamente en que su personal afirma que la llave estaba ahí. Me parece muy injusto que se cobre a un huésped por algo que nunca recibió ni utilizó. No tengo ninguna razón para mentir sobre una llave que nunca estuvo en la habitación.

Es una pena que una estancia que en general fue buena termine así, con un cargo por un objeto que nunca me fue entregado.

La atención del personal es espectacular.

Todo impecable y de buen gusto. El desayuno delicioso y el servicio excelente.

Precioso lugar, lleno de detalles, cada cuarto perfectamente bien puesto y con todo lo necesario.
La ubicación genial, en el centro de la ciudad, todo caminando.
El personal increíblemente amable y cada día nos preparaban un desayuno espectacular.
Lo recomiendo mil.

Incredibly attentive staff who even sliced up a jicama I got at one of the markets so that I can enjoy it as an evening snack! They were very sweet and extremely informative. Always available if I needed something, but not hovering, which was great for solo travel.

This place is absolutely fantastic. It’s a house that has been converted to a four room boutique hotel and it is just a dream. There’s such a wonderful vibe here. The staff are so friendly. The food is delicious. The location is fantastic. The rooms are air-conditioned. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be back. If this hotel is fully booked try one of their sister hotels also totally stunning.

beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of the city. naomi was wonderful & speaks good english. the breakfasts were phenomenal. chef luna is awesome!

Casa Carmen is the most recomendable stay in Oaxaca. The house is an art museum run by th most incredibly kind and welcoming staff. It was the perfect home away from home. We did not want to leave. I can’t wait to come back to Oaxaca and stay at Casa Carmen again!

Cozy and intimate. The decor is stunning and the rooms modern, chic and comfortable. The courtyard is a great place to hang out. Breakfast on the one day we could partake was imaginative, well prepared and filling. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Stunning building - gorgeous large bedroom, beautiful open courtyards. Great art. People who worked there were lovely and so helpful. Amazing breakfast. Tranquil atmosphere.

An absolute treasure ! The hotel is an experience in itself! The staff is warm friendly and helpful and feels like your in an artists vision . Naomi is a delight !

Spending Valentine’s weekend at Casa Carmen Morelos was incredibly romantic and memorable. The hotel is beautiful inside, with intimate design details — we especially loved the dragon fruit plant climbing the courtyard wall. The staff was super accommodating and made the stay feel personal, and we loved the Valentine’s Day flower arrangement they placed in our room. Breakfast each morning was delicious and beautifully presented, and our room was cozy and well provisioned. The bathroom, with a planter built into the shower, created a serene, spa-like feel that made our stay feel extra special.
