Very pleasant for a one-night stay

L’amabilité des propriétaires et du personnel. La situation en plein centre et la possibilité de se restaurer sur place. La propreté

Cons:

Chambre plutôt petite et salle de bain très simples. Quelques remontées d’odeurs des canalisations, malgré une propreté irréprochable.

La chambre triple confortable et spacieuse. L'emplacement sur la place. Le parking gratuit. La possibilité de prendre un verre avant de rentrer.

Cons:

Le prix du petit déjeuner trop cher 18€/personne. A ce prix là on peut s'attendre à de la charcuterie, du fromage de la région et des fruits ou une salade de fruits. Si on avait su, on serait allé dans l'un des bars autour de la place ou à la boulangerie attenante à l'hôtel

One of the worst hotels I have ever been in
Pros:

The location is good, but then again it is also good for all the other hotels in the village.

One positive is that although the owner did not agree with my view on the cleanliness, she did agree to cover the local taxes.

Cons:

As you walk through the main door (there is no proper reception) you are greeted with a strong smell of mouldy dampness that feels like it has permeated the walls, carpets and furniture over centuries. The smell goes all the way through the hotel and into the bedrooms. It stayed despite me opening the window for some time.

The bedrooms feel like stepping back in time to a British 1970's seaside two star hotel where nothing has been touched for years and all the botched little repairs have become worse and worse.

Thankfully I had some menthol vapour rub that I could put up my nose to aleviate some of the smell and try to get some sleep. I've never been so happy for morning to arrive so I could leave.

If payment hadn't been taken in advance I would have turned around and found another hotel.

It was perfect for our stay. It was nice size and clean. Matched the description. Check in and out was simple. The town itself is delightful.
