The Modena is part-serviced luxury condo, and part hotel. The property is beautiful with a beautifully placed water pool, swimming pool, and gym in the background.
The Bistro Restaurant is nearby the hotel rooms and is where breakfast is served. The breakfast was a good breakfast with many options, such as salad, fruit, coffee, and your choice of some hot options such as eggs, boiled rice porridge, or simple thai dishes like Krapao.
The bed was comfortable, a bit on the soft side. The air con was strong and after setting it down to 22, I had to set it back up to 25 because it was too cold. There were plenty of outlets next to the bed and elsewhere in the room. I liked the desk lamp which was built into the wall.
The Check-in desk is not the most obvious place, and is located outside at the end. While I was trying to check in, I was getting swarmed by insects and the experience was uncomfortable. Why not enclose it?
There is very limited parking for the hotel, and if the 7 or 8 parking spots by the check-in are full, you have to park down below, which was very inconvenient considering it was raining a lot during my stay.
The room was very mediocre. It was small, and awkward. There was a sofa against the window with a small coffee table next to it, but there was no desk and chair to work at (and there really wasn't room for such.) For the price point in Buriram I would have expected a larger room.
The shower was a standard showerhead which is detachable and can be hand held, but there was no overhead showerhead. The toilet and sink were standard.
I had breakfast and was looking at their wine collection and they told me there was a wine tasting that evening. Great! I love wine and buy bottles often. However then they told me it was sold out which annoyed me immensely. Why tell me there's a wine tasting if there's no space for me? I asked if they could make an exception and add me but the manager told him no. Too bad, I would have bought some bottles.
In general, you're paying a lot for the location which is right next to the Stadium. I'm sure during football matches, the hotel is busy but otherwise, I see no reason to pay a higher price point for this location.

It is extremely overpriced. With very few people staying there the property should have discounted prices during the slow season. Food & drink completely overpriced.

Der Pool ist schön und das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig.
Keine guten Zimmer und recht teuer. Bei Buchungsänderungen wird es teurer.

Wet seats in the dining room - my partner sat down and his trousers and pants were wet through !
