Location, the food especially breakfast. Dog friendly with extensive grounds to execise your dog and no additional charges. Comfortsble bar area and friendly staff.

Bombastically fantastic
Pros:

I liked how I could go outside and sit on the bench and see the stars. I liked that we could get breakfast in the morning, and that we was able to stay with our dogs in the room.

Cons:

There was nothing we didn’t like .

Perfect for us. Recommend.
Pros:

Like the cosy feel of the hotel.
It is dated but I prefer that to modern hotels.
Our room was nice and the staff were all very helpful and friendly.
The grounds were lovely

Cons:

Breakfast was too early. We stayed in the week so it may be later at weekends but when you're on holiday you don't want to get up for breakfast at 7am - 9am.

Lovely, we will return.
Pros:

The breakfast was exceptional, we thoroughly enjoyed it! Well cooked and nice and hot. Dining room and table well laid. Our waitress was helpful and friendly.

Couldn’t let dog out on patio as wedding on. Very noisy with 1 hour sleep.
Pros:

It was close to where we were staying the next day

Cons:

I didn’t like they didn’t inform me there was a wedding at time of booking, especially if they had my details before hand.

Perhaps a courtesy call “are you part of wedding etc”

At the point of Booking never knew was a wedding venue.

Do not stay unless you’re a wedding guest or if you don’t mind screaming kids or lack of sleep this is the place to be
Pros:

Do not stay here only if your attending a wedding there

Cons:

Rude staff apart from the lady that was working Sunday evening and lady at break fast Monday morning

Very pleasant place and it was nice location 👌
Pros:

Lovely selection of what you could have for breakfast.
And was nice and hot when it arrived.
Beautiful location and very quite.
Would use hotel again

Cons:

Nothing really as far as it goes maybe little bigger lounge area.
But for a three star hotel very pleasant.

Absolutely perfect
Pros:

what can I say apart from perfect in every way
So welcoming the grounds are stunning
Evening meals are all proper home cooked and plenty of it
Nothing was to much trouble for the staff even down to extra sausages for the dogs at breakfast
We will definitely be back for another stay

Pleasant
Pros:

Staff were friendly and breakfast was lovely with excellent service.
We stayed because we were attending a wedding held at the hotel which had excellent facilities for the wedding.

Cons:

The Hotel needs updating.
