Most of the staff couldn’t do enough for me. Customer service is paramount. There was a small fridge in the Reception area with ice cream and chilled water too as it was so hot outside - a nice touch. Excellent. Good free parking and free wifi.
The size of the single room was very small for the price. The bed had a number of protective covers on the mattress and the quilt was thick - all that was needed in the heat was a sheet on the mattress and one on top. The room had a tiny window opening onto a small encased concrete area so there was no air flow possible which made it very uncomfortable. The hotel did provide two fans though. A couple of hooks in the bathroom for hanging wash bags would be useful - on the back of the door perhaps?
The hotel was lovely staff were excellent clean food was good . The only problem I had was the room was so hot even with the Dan on all night it was so hot
Breakfast was plentiful.
Small double room was very small. Tired bathroom and a view that looked out onto an air conditioning unit and enclosed flat roof.

Because the route to the room was quite long with some stairs, an offer of assistance with luggage for elderly would have been welcome.

Excellent location to where I was going and superb car parking facilities. Staff were very helpful.
Room was quite hot but the fan provided in room did help.
The food in the restaurant was superb, both dinner and dessert. Was really very impressed with it. The hotel is in a decent location. I did not make use of the leisure facilities, but it all looked very clean and well kept.
Unfortunately, I stayed on the hottest day of the year, in a single room, with a tiny window. It felt like I was sleeping inside of a fan oven. Some aircon would have been really good in a room so small.

Very clean, very comfy beds and very close to Trent Bridge. All of staff were extremely friendly and a special shout out to Kat on reception who was lovely. Breakfast was buffet style and very tasty and plentiful. Good on site parking.
No air con but fan was provided.
