Noisy, lack of sleep
Pros:

Super noisy room, instead of rested we left tired, we reported the noise after the first night, nothing was done. My last afternoon there the pool was full of screaming kids not giving adults without kids a chance to relax. The gentleman completing our hotel check out seemed inconvenience by my presence, never smiled, never asked how my stay was, just gave me my total and that was it.

Magical hotel in a magical town
Pros:

Like the town it’s in, this hotel is simply MAGICAL. The decor is eclectic and gorgeous — no corner is unadorned. The spa will change your life—I had a massage with Amelia at Feel Urban and I’ve never had such a relaxing ViP level experience. I had the best cocktail of my life at Barkam. But the best part is the SERVICE. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and warm! Daniel the concierge gave us so many wonderful tips that made our trip outstanding and made us feel at home. I’d give it 6 stars if I could!

Nice stay
Pros:

I reserved three rooms through my Amex platinum card for myself and three others. One room was shared with two double beds, one was the viento suite and the other was one with a private hot tub and access to the cabanas that are only available to some rooms. I liked how the room with double beds had a curtain to the glass bathroom, you could have privacy from the other person staying in the room. The other two did not. I personally had the viento suite. Very spacious, I like having a sitting area. I was traveling with my cousins and the other cousin who wanted their own room as well had the private hot tub room. This was great as you could adjust the temp of the jacuzzi to make it more cool on a warm day. The tub can only accommodate two just FYI. We also loved that this provided us access to the designated cabana areas as the other ones were taken by the afternoon when we would visit the pool.

We loved the breakfast options including the buffet. We only ate at one other restaurant on property, I believe it’s called spice market, it was good and staff at both restaurants were very nice and accommodating. We also ordered food and drinks by the pool, the rib eye tacos were amazing. The other food was nice too but those were hands down the best ribeye tacos I’ve had. The pool wait staff was very kind too.

The reasons I took one star off…
While I loved my room, I happened to be there an evening of a wedding one of the nights. I did not feel comfortable having my awesome large window curtains open with guests being able to see me move about my room. I did not know they hosted weddings (my fault for not checking) but disappointed that my room was right next to it.

The pool music is too much. I just want to relax, not a techno fan. I would prefer no music or very minimal, not blasting like I’m at a beach club on spring break in my teens or twenties. Also the pool closes at 8pm, which I think is very early.

In the morning of my final day I went to the lobby to let them know I would like the 4pm checkout (this is guaranteed when booking through Amex platinum). I sat down and the woman asked how she could assist and I said I would like to check out of my rooms at 4 and before I could finish my sentence she said that she could not accommodate. I waited until she was done telling me that they were full, etc then explained I had 4pm guarantee and she said yes of course then. Not a huge deal but in the past the hotel will usually reach out and ask if I would like to utilize that or ask for room number if I request and see that it is guaranteed. Just a little service thing that could be improved. I did not park on property or use the spa there, so no info on that. If I was to go again, I would look into if they had a suite with the private hot tub/cabana access. Some rooms looked like they were lower like they did not have a view besides if their own private pool area, not sure how I would feel about that without full natural lighting being able to get into the room though.

Cons:

Por mejorar, los desayunos son un poco demorados, y la ubicación es un poco alejada del centro a comparación de otros hoteles muy lindos de la zona.

Queda a aproximadamente 15 minutos caminando. Que no está mal. Pero prefiero hoteles mas cercanos.
