Pros:

Stunning views, the spa was good, great they have EV charging on site at a reasonable price. Staff was great when it came to bringing bathrobes and our dnd sign, very fast. But when we needed to charging card for the car they seemed a bit clueless

Cons:

Little things matter a lot in hospitality, lack of toiletries which I expect when I pay more than £400 a night. The big shampoo / shower gel bottles were often empty (both in the spa and our own hotel room / Lodge/ suite). A wet carpet in the main bedroom (from a clean I think but it was still wet on the 3rd day of our stay), a humming hot water tank, cleaners who dont clean glasses, leave cloths behind we found quite a few bits of rubbish on our outdoor patio. Also the outdoor tub is a bathtub, not a jacuzzi perhaps I assumed it was one but no bubbles. Still great to have an outside bath! Also a bit gutted our big bed was in fact 2 mattresses

Great location, good breakfast. Spa excellent

Cons:

Booked 'courtyard room' - there was no courtyard. Room was on 1st floor and view from window was scruffy, dirty roof and wall. Need to change description of room as this was very misleading and dissappointing. One of our party had room which had problem with toilet not flushing properly and shower not draining - maintenance came and sorted problem but room had terrible smell afterwards

Sadly disappointed after paying for a suite.
Pros:

Beautiful location, attractive bar,lounge area and amazing views from hotel.

Cons:

Room was very cold (no heating) very tired and dated, sofa and 2 chairs were worn out and flat. Steps into bathroom made it difficult in the night.booked a suite and had high expectations due to cost but wasn’t worth the money paid. When checking out it would have been nice if we were asked if we enjoyed our stay ?
