Sunprime Atlantic View Suite & Spa

We had a lovely stay. The rooms were clean and had plenty of space. Our booking was all inclusive, and every meal was of great quality. There was a new dinner-theme for every day of the week. One of us is vegan which can be a little difficult to accommodate, but the waiters and kitchen staff made special dishes for her every night and made sure that everything was right. They took great care of us.

I was here with ny daughter and we both found the hotel os not as good as other Ving Hotels, that we have stayed at.
We expected better from a Sunprime hotel. The staff was friendly and competent. The manager though, we never saw her and she was stingy. The hotel in itself:
Three pools, a lot of sunbeds. And no problem finding a spot. The pool exercise instructor, Bussy, deserves a sorcial mention. She's the best instructor we've had. Even though the three speakers the hotel gave her kept breaking during her classes and she would have to cut them short.
The pool towels, that are included, can only be replaced between 17-18 in the reception and so stingy. At other Sunprime hotels, you just get a new at any time and drop your old at a place at the pool.
No hype around the bar and restaurant. I think they closed early too. No special drink offers or happy hour, like we've had at other Ving hotels.
The balconies are not shady enough and no canopies are offered, even on request. So we could only sit there early morning ir late afternoon. The chairs are the most uncomfortable chairs we've experienced and certainly not the photos shown on the official photographs. And the light on the balcony is centrally operated. At a certain time you can't have light on the balcony. I think it was 11 pm all balconies went completely dark. In all the balcony wasn't a nice place to just chill.
The location of the hotel is not really good either. To get to the beach you'll have to take the hotel shuttle. But I wouldn't revommedn the beach. To get to shops in San Fernando it'a an 18 minute walk.
About our room:
The air condition didn't work. They came three times to fix it. The third time I rrally yad to coax them to come. They said the technicican had taken a photograph that said the temperature on our room was 17⁰ C. Which wasn't even possible. The lowest setting on the panel was 18⁰ C, which it wasn't either, since the main vent let out lukewarm air.
The freezer eas broke. All our ice cream, three packages melted. They sent a guy to check the freezer and he replaced the whole fridge. Put it at it's lowest so ice wasn't even forming. When I cotrected that
The freezer worked. No compensation was mentioned from the reception. And when I brought it up. Then the stingy hotel manager demanded a receipt for the ice cream and all we could get was two soft drinks from the soda fountain or two draft beers. This to me is ridiculous. At other hotels the manager was present a lot and was committed to guest satisfaction. When we had found cockroached in our room and they sent someone to spray he als checked that it happened and also offered us teo drinks of choice from the bar. And obviously this is the smart thing to do for guest satisfaction and something you learn in hospitality education to strive for.
The sink in yhe bathroom was clogged. They came twice for this.
The handle on the balcony door was so loose that it was jard to open the door. Sometjinh you'd think the cleaners would notice and tell reception. And maybe they did. But we had to complain about that too, since it became increasingly difficult to open the door.
We don't think this hotel deserves 4 stars due to the standard and attitude from management. It's one thing you could do with refurbishing. Another thing that things are not working. We were NOT the only guest that had problems with the air condition.
We won't be coming back.

El personal que trabaja en este lugar es ideal, además de la comida ubicación y todo lo demás

l'hôtel est situé à environ 2km à pied des dunes de MASPALOMAS dans un quartier plutôt calme à l'écart de la vie trépidante de la station. C'est un super endroit avec une vue sur les dunes et l'océan. Nous avions une terrasse avec chaises et tables et deux transats!
On trouve à quelques centaines de mètres des supérettes, médecins et restaurants, et il est très facile de se garer sur la place devant l'hôtel, idéal car gratuit et très proche.
Les piscines (3+pataugeoire) sont très bien tenues et il y a de la place pour s'allonger sur les transats .
Nous avons pris l'option pdj +dîner , c'est très bon, copieux et varié, beaucoup de choix dans les viandes , poissons et légumes. L'ambiance est vraiment restaurant et non cantine d'entreprise.
les boissons sont incluses y compris les vins , bières, soft, sangria, eaux etc c'est un plus ! et groupes de musique
pratiquement tous les soirs.
C'est une très bonne solution pour passer un séjour calme et reposant , proche des golf, plages et montagnes.
Il est probable que nous y retournerons pour notre prochain séjour sur la GRANDE CANARIE.
Et le personnel est super sympa, accueillant et attentif, bravo!

Desayuno, personal encantador, piscina, limpieza...

Just got back from a 5 night stay here and we had a lovely time , hotel was really nice clean and spacious with three pretty big pools too . There was always sunbed available and no body was getting up early to reserve them . We was only breckfeast and the food was brilliant too So much to offer really enjoyed it . The staff was so friendly too on arrival we all had been offered some prosecco. which was a nice touch too . Taxis are available at the front too . Location is also good too , Shops near by available you can walk to playa de ingles too .

Negative thoughts- taxi required for most places although is free bus to beach however on the beach miles from any toilets which you pay for. Location not the best
Hotel is regimented in terms of what you can and cannot do we liked the quieter pool but smokers be ware smoking area is the only place you can smoke not around your sun lounger they come along and tell you off like your 10.
No floats in quite pool not even for anyone with a disability even hidden ones only allowed in big main pool which is busier and does not suit everyone. Adults only hotel is why we booked however did not expect to be treated like a child on rules rules rules
Positive thoughts- all staff in the hotel including cleaners are lovely warm and welcoming. Food was always nice too.
Would we come back no we like to enjoy our holiday not have to adhere to being treat like children if ya dare to want a smoke or dare to feel safer with a float in a quiet area.

Added extra is rooms are tired looking and pool area is dirty tiles in pool and lots loose or broken off on side someone will cut themselves on these at some point

The swimming pools and in general the building and its spaces.
The girls at the front desk very kindly they help you and smile every time.

Alojamiento muy bueno, pero lo que realmente marca la diferencia es su equipo humano. El servicio y la atención recibida por parte de todo el personal fue excepcional. Gracias por hacernos sentir como en casa

Friendly staff, lovely and quiet. Food was nice too

La tranquilidad, el desayuno y las instalaciones del hotel, con tres enormes piscinas, muchas hamacas y mucha vegetación. Hay una pequeña cocina en la habitación. Y un pequeño supermercado dentro del hotel.
