Staff were excellent and very helpful
Breakfast excellent, plenty of choice.Very tasty.
Some little entertainment.
The overall hotel experience was very good ,great staff ,room overall was clean and tidy but for a couple of details
Had booked two rooms ,my room had a dirty towel in the bathroom and the handles one of the windows were hanging off otherwise the review would have been better
N/A.
See photos: arrived to a very dirty tea spoon next to the kettle, unused towel was dirty, the room was very unclean, the carpet is icky, stained (you feel it underfoot), bathroom not cleaned properly on arrival (see sink stains) and "room service" did not pick up or bother cleaning this next day. Loo roll on arrival was very thin i.e. at the point the last guest left it, broken bath curtain hook. The bed had a slant and the room curtains let in light, you can hear people snoring next room. The hotel gets basics wrong i.e. hygiene and is very poor value for money - we were 3 people and had 3 x "superior" singles; it was shocking. My 6th trip to Eryri / North Wales in 3 years as we hike extensively, never had an experience like this.
Excellent location, helpful staff and very comfortable room
They allowed us to park our motorcycles on the grounds at the side of the hotel, so safe.
We were off before breakfast so the hotel kindly supplied us with a breakfast bag but it could have been better, orange juice, an apple, a very small bread roll with jam.
Decor, bed was comfy, good breakfast, good location
Apparently had new ‘quiet’ fans in the bathrooms but didn’t feel they did the job properly
Lovely family run hotel . Staff very friendly and helpful
Nothing
Was close to beatch ect
Charged for large double room but was small very cramped room
Not value for money.
Everything was fantastic
Nothing
Fantastic location - room spotless and spacious - staff all very friendly - booked again for June
Location is good. Hotel is very traditional but has good facilities
A bit tired. Room a bit dull.
The room was very clean, toilets , bath and shower .
Carpet wasn't great , but it was a doggy room so can appreciate it is a nightmare keeping them immaculate . Staff in the dinner room were lovely , friendly and very professional. Credit to them all. Also bed was very comfortable and bedding was immaculate.
On entering i did think what the heck . But it is very quirky which I wasn't use to .
The decor was old style and very well done Felt very as The lift was a great for access to the rooms
Old style traditional hotel.
Polite staff, accommodating, comfy, nice breakfast
Car-park, hard to find as away from main hotel grounds, just lucky I saw the sign at the last minute, also some bad parking preventing about 4 places able to be used.
Room size was good. Shower was fast. Breakfast was nice
Bathroom door would shut. Rather have a walk up breakfast but understand that you can ask for me if you want
Ambiance. Friendly services.
Old school
Biscuits in rooms.
Better understanding of gluten free.(though not bad at all)
