Too expensive for poor food quality control
Pros:

Great service from Benita.

Cons:

We had dinner on Friday night and 3 people ordered Cordon Blu. The meat was raw which is a massive health risk. It was sent back to the kitchen and they did not give fresh food but just cooked the meat a bit longer. The fries were then stone cold. This is not good enough for the prices paid and the location of the hotel.

Pros:

The location is wonderful. The hotel is set in a quiet lakeside area with a small marina and two little beaches, and the restaurant has a beautiful view over the lake. Walensee is our favourite lake in Switzerland, so for us the setting was really special.

The staff at reception were very friendly and took the time to explain what we could do and see in the area.

Our room was large, quiet and had a magnificent view over the lake from the balcony. We particularly liked the mezzanine. In many hotels, this type of room looks spacious in the pictures but the mezzanine has a very low ceiling. That was definitely not the case here: there was plenty of headroom and it felt almost like a proper second room.

Breakfast was good, with a nice selection.

This is definitely a place we would come back to.

Cons:

The furniture in the room is starting to show its age and the room could benefit from a little update. That said, everything we needed was there and it did not take away from our stay.

Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen.
Pros:

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, Rezeption und im Restaurant. Gutes Frühstück und Essen im Restaurant. Sehr schöne Lage am Walensee.

Cons:

Eigentlich hat uns nur eine Klimaanlage gefehlt, im Zimmer und im Restaurant, da es sehr heiss war.
