Ok, it's a 2 star hotel, so I you can't expect much (and I didn't), but at least you can expect to sleep in... the staff started banging and yelling at 7am... they work at the place and don't know that their chatter resonates through the building?!? 0 consideration! the cleaning staff is slamming doors, elevator door is banged, angry yells at reception.... - if you are planning to sleep past 7 - good luck! haha
Moreover, the place is half empty - yet they call you at 10:05(!) to check out!! Let me sleep a little!
I guess it's a "1-night/hour stand" hotel for all the "elements" that are roaming the surrounding streets... mehh, whatever

Ótimo custo benefício, com staff simpático, arquitetura linda e bem localizado
Pros:

A arquitetura do Hotel Palacio vale a estada. Construção dos anos 1930, tem muita Art Deco. O prédio foi reformado, especialmente os banheiros estão modernizados, o elevador é antigo, mas seguro e muito lindo de ver. De um modo geral, recomendo a estada, embora não haja luxos, todas as atendentes e senhoras da limpeza são extremamente educadas, prestativas e atenciosas, lembrando que eu falo espanhol e por isso minhas solicitações eram atendidas de pronto. Banheiros limpos, de um modo geral as áreas comuns eram limpas. Ótimo custo benefício, centralizado, perto de restaurantes, farmácias, cafés e pontos turísticos.

Cons:

Por ser um hotel de arquitetura antiga, a parte de isolamento acústico deixa a desejar, mas nada muito incômodo, mas para hóspedes mais sensíveis ao barulho isso pode prejudicar à noite. Precisam melhorar esta parte.

Pros:

Voltar para a década de 20 do século passado, não tem preço. Não tem como ser exigente para um imóvel que traz suas características fidedignas de uma época de ouro. Sem falar do entorno, maravilhoso!

A localização é ótima, fica a uma quadra da Puerta da Cidadela, Teatro Solís, e diversos outros pontos turísticos. Muito boa a comunicação com a recepção, atenciosos em nossa chegada, dia a dia e na saída. Banheiro com box de vidro, e não cortina. É maravilhoso. Em um dia, conseguimos rodar toda a região próxima do hotel a pe. No outro dia, alugamos duas bikes para rodar a cidade, e fizemos o caminho todo em ciclofaixas, com muita segurança. Dica de ouro da recepcionista: aloquem a mountain bike, ela tem marchas. Ajuda MUITO pra pedalar na cidade. 200 pesos mais caro que a simples, mas vale muito mais a pena. Ou então utilize o ônibus de turismo. É rápido e vc tambem vai em tudo. Tem um Starbucks bem na esquina e diversas padarias próximas. Indico o café da praça Salvo, ao lado do Café Salvo.

O café da manhã é apenas café, uma espécie de 'cortesia'.
