Pleasant staff, location ok, the hotel pool was a convenient alternative to the beach

Bathroom condition was poor - broken toilet seat, shower curtain did not stop water spilling over the whole floor, no basic toiletries like showergel, shampoo

A pleasant enough little hotel in a quiet side street.
Pros:

The pool was just a nice size and depth, and the surroundings of beautiful flower beds was very attractive. The breakfast was a good choice of various foods, but a bowl of honey to spoon onto the cereals was sorely missed. Parking is just adequate for a dozen cars, but can be awkward to reverse out of and into the narrow steep uphill road. The room had good cupboard space and a comfortable bed, plus an outdoor patio with a small round table and a long padded bench to sit on, and a place to hang washing.

Cons:

For what you get the price is very steep, but that appears to apply to all the Sozopol hotels which charge about double or more of the price one would pay elsewhere in Bulgaria. The lack of sound deadening insulation in the walls of our room meant that talking in the next room kept us awake at night. The hand written menu in Bulgarian plus one or two words in English below each item was passed around the tables and was totally inadequate as if you did not read Bulgarian you were left with no idea of what might appear on your plate. For instance the one word "Pork" on the menu could describe any sort of meals using pork meat. Also, the main course only came with a few potato chips and no other vegetables or even bread to go with it. This single hand written menu had a choice of two salads, two main courses and two desserts one of which was a scoop of ice cream.

Pros:

Хотелът е разположен на много добро място. Стаите са удобни и добре поддържани. Персоналът е любезен, отзивчив и усмихнат. Камериерките почистваха стаята всеки ден, а по време на петдневния ни престой спалното бельо беше сменено два пъти, което оценяваме високо. Басейнът също е достатъчно голям, чист и отлично поддържан. Хотелът предлага и обедно меню. Опитахме го веднъж – храната не беше нищо особено и порциите ни се сториха малки за сметка на това тирамисуто беше изключително вкусно.

Cons:

Определението в Booking „превъзходна закуска“ е подвеждащо и не отговаря на това, което се предлага. Менюто включва предимно яйца в различни варианти, пържени кренвирши и колбаси със ниско качество и вкус. Десертите също бяха под очакванията – сух кекс без вкус и десерт, наподобяващ шоколадово брауни, който не беше сладък и имаше текстура, сякаш е недоизпечен. Според нас качеството и разнообразието на храната не оправдават високата оценка. Закуската е напълно приемлива, но чак „превъзходна“ създава очаквания, които не бяха покрити.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Man kann zu Fuß zur Promenade.
Das Personal der Unterkunft ist sehr freundlich und sehr nett.
Meerausblick mit Terrasse sehr schön.

Cons:

Leider eine große Enttäuschung. Trotz Buchung und Bezahlung für 4 Kinder und 2 Erwachsene erhielten wir zunächst nur ein Doppelbett mit Schlafsofa. Erst gegen Aufpreis bekamen wir ein Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten. Das erste Zimmer war für 6 Personen viel zu klein und für einen 7-tägigen Aufenthalt völlig ungeeignet.

Die Ausstattung ist mangelhaft: In der gesamten Wohnung gibt es nur drei Steckdosen. Im Schlafzimmer stand zwar ein Lüfter, es gab dort aber keine freie Steckdose – man musste sich zwischen Lüfter, Babyphone, Nachttischlampe oder dem Laden von Handy und Laptop entscheiden. Die Betten sind durch die dicken Topper extrem weich.

Das Hotel ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und wirkt kaum instand gehalten. Das Schlafzimmer unter dem Dach war unerträglich heiß. Für den Preis absolut nicht empfehlenswert.

Super hotel, niewielki ale nawet przy dużym obłożeniu było bardzo cicho, nawet w nocy nie słyszeliśmy sąsiadów zza ściany. Sprzątany codziennie, fajnie ze w pokoju lodówka i czajnik, bardzo blisko do plaży i do centrum
