Charming but pricey.
Pros:

Old place with period decor. Narrow entrance from lane outside. Take care if you’re in a big car. Drop bags off next to building then park up. Friendly reception and help with our luggage to the room (no lifts). Room was comfortable but not large. Corner bath with shower. Separate WC. Good Breakfast to order (tick boxes on form), served with a smile. Expensive evening meal but very tasty and nicely presented. Limited choices. Large grounds in need of some TLC. Close to Tours without being in the city.

Cons:

No lift, with steps to reception and rooms. Could do with a non-slip mat if you use the shower. I used a hand towel. Silly money for some of the wines and spirits. Very slow service when we wanted a drink in the bar before dinner, maybe a trainee staff member. Don’t expect to eat in a hurry. Evening meal started at 19:45 and finished at 22:15 for us. Plenty of time between courses for chat. Hotel is in a rural spot with no other restaurants or cafes nearby.

Très bel hôtel proche de Tours
Pros:

L’hôtel est magnifique et bien décoré. La propriété est vaste et au calme. Le service du petit déjeuner servi à table.

Cons:

La décoration de la chambre est un peu d’époque.

Not much. Dinner was good but over priced

Cons:

Room was terrible. Reserved for 2 nights. Left after one despite not getting a refund.
Pavilion building and room were run down akin to a cheap motel
Room overlooked busy street. Not what was envisioned for a French chateau.
Breakfast was basic and extremely limited

Pros:

Le petit déjeuner servi à table est très copieux et bon, le personnel très accueillant et très disponible et à l'écoute. Pas très loin de Tours donc très bien situé.

Cons:

Les chambres sont un peu "dans leur jus" et mériteraient quelques rafraichissements (moquette, papier peint, une douche au lieu d'une baignoire)
