Service and staff - exceptional
Facilities - cozy, boutique-style, curated, elegant, charming. From the room, to the shared spaces, everything was great.
Views - beautiful seaviews from every corner of the property.
F&B - great throughout, from breakfast to dinner and the drinks/wine/sake included.
Perhaps just the room toilet, small, hot and boxed up with no window. Totally not a huge issue, but likely the only improvable aspect.

The staff is incredibly kind, and all parts of the hotel and meal service were flawless. The food was all super fresh and delicious—the chef and sommelier clearly put a lot of thought into the meals and wine. The dining room has a beautiful sunset view of Mt. Fuji. Everything complemented the natural beauty of Tateyama. The room was clean and spacious. The prices were also great for a luxury experience!
I loved everything about the Shinra Tateyama, but maybe if there were clearer instructions for getting to the hotel from Tateyama Station, or recommendations for tourism destinations nearby, it would be helpful (I'm a foreigner and don't know the area or how to use the local bus very well)

From the moment we got there to when we left, the staff made sure our stay there was nothing but relaxing. The facilities and private open air bath included with the rooms were clean and beyond my expectations.
