Good location
Over priced and not looked after well
The Alida is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in for years! Beautiful lobby, comfortable and quiet room, and a good restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The hotel is also close to Savannah’s riverfront, near shopping, and landmarks. The staff members are cheerful and anticipated our needs. We would stay again.
Breakfast is a bit pricey.
WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS HOTEL! We have stayed here every time we come to Savannah, we will literally book our trip around staying at this hotel. This time when we checked in, we were greeted with the friendliest smile from Polina! She was warm and welcoming. We had booked a specific style room and she was gracious to give us all the details. She made everything so easy. This hotel is perfect for walking through Savannah historic district, has amazing amenities and the best pillows (it’s a thing). If you come to Savannah, stay at The Alida!
This may be the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in anywhere. An amazing place. The location, comfort, design, and little details are all spot on. And the shower. Oh my that shower. Staff is great. The valets are the first and last touches. As such, Eric & My’lik were great at being ambassadors to the hotel. I want to move in and live here. My only, and I mean only, suggestion is to switch to the Marriott TV system with Netflix.
The Alida is a very charming hotel and one of the best places to stay in Savannah. It's in a great location near the river and has one of the best roof top bars and views.
Jordan the front desk was very helpful and everyone was extremely nice. I hope to come back one day.
Great place! Helpful, friendly staff. Comfortable beds.
Great hotel, great location, great vibes all around. I stayed here for a couple of nights over the July 4th weekend and absolutely loved it. The location is perfect: close enough to the action without feeling like you are right in the middle of the strip, right by the water, and ideal for a morning sunrise coffee.
The staff was fantastic: warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and just genuinely kind. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, stylish, and top quality across the board.
One special note: I accidentally left my AirPods behind, and honestly, you never know if you are going to get something like that back. Kelvin, Kayla Valicento, and the front office team were incredibly helpful, responsive, and kind enough to take care of it and get them shipped back to me. That kind of service really says a lot about the hotel and the people who work there.
Wonderful experience all around. Highly recommend The Alida Hotel and would absolutely stay here again.
We LOVED the Alida! We were attending the GMA annual conference for elected officials. I will always stay at the Alida from now on!
KEVIN was our valet and he offered friendly service and has the BEST attitude of anyone I encountered during our stay.
He remains calm under stress and even in the Summer heat.
The pool was a favorite amenity of our 8yo. The roof top is a great place to host events, you’re staying the heart of the city. We’ll be back next summer!
The hotel and staff were lovely. I totally loved the beach bar & rooftop ! The rooms were clean and comfortable. Everything about was great and it’s not that far from a lot of main attractions in the downtown area. The valet service at the hotel was also super helpful. Special shoutout to Jonathan the valet guy who pointed us to the best little pub ever your the best!
Best hotel I’ve stayed in when visiting Savannah. The amenities are great, hotel is nice key layers out and decorated. So convenient to everything in the heart of the river walk. The entire staff is fantastic.
We are a senor couple lifetime Marriott Gold.
This was the worst Marriott property stay across all brands by far that I can remember.
Bad enough that i took the time to write serrately to the exec in charge of this brand. Lets just say finding underwear ina drw upon arrival and going down from there.
I'd look up the prohibition museum on google in a pedestrian mall and select a hotel closer to it.
Stayed at the Alida Hotel for Fathers Day. I am a dedicated Marriot hoteler. I called the front desk to request late checkout. I explained i was a gold member and she rudely said we are sold out and 12 is the best i can do. I repeated my status and again she repeated herself rudely. I checked my Bonvoy app and yes she lied as well there were plenty of rooms abailable.
Our ResortPass day at the Alida Hotel exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel welcomed and genuinely valued.
A special thank you to Nate, the valet supervisor, and Arnel in valet services for their professionalism, efficiency, and warm hospitality. First impressions matter, and they set the tone for a fantastic day.
At the front desk, Kayla and Kelvin were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the check-in process effortless. Their positive attitudes and attention to detail helped make everything seamless from start to finish.
The pool atmosphere was outstanding, clean, relaxing, and perfectly maintained. Pool bartender Jarrett provided exceptional service throughout the day, keeping guests well taken care of while creating a fun and welcoming environment. Preparing thirst quenching drinks to order!
What stood out most was the level of hospitality across every department. It’s clear that the Alida has built a culture focused on guest experience, and it shows. Whether you’re staying overnight or enjoying a day pass, this property offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and genuine Southern hospitality.
We left refreshed, relaxed, and already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable Savannah pool day experience.
Will definitely be returning. Five stars all around!
Location, decor, service, food, amenities were all great! Rooftop bar was a pleasure to enjoy - hummus and pita bread was divine!
The only thing that surprised me is that robes weren’t provided. I would have expected a hotel like the Alida to have them. That said, I also deeply appreciate efforts to decarbonize operations and having guest robes would increase washing and cleaning waste.
Great location
