It was enjoyable and the staff gives good recommendations
Pros:

There are plenty of cafes/restaurants to choose from and it is not too far from the underground.

Cons:

There is no ramp going up to the reception and beyond. It becomes a problem if one carries a heavy suitcase

Pros:

Das Personal war sehr nett und hat einem auch bei Fragen und Infos zur Stadt und der Umgebung bzw für Unternehmungen mit guten Rat und interessanten Vorschlägen weitergeholfen. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr lecker und vielfältig. Die Lage ist perfekt. Parkplätze stehen bei vorheriger Anmeldung auch zur Verfügung. Kann das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Czysty pokój, dobra lokalizacja, komfortowa łazienka, udogodnienia.

Cons:

Zarezerwowałem pokój w cenie ze śniadaniem. Przy wymeldowaniu okazało się że za jajecznicę do śniadania płaci się osobno. Nie dostałem takiej informacji przy zameldowaniu ani na samym śniadaniu. W cenie zarezerwowanego śniadania jest tylko bufet (pieczywo, masło, wędliny/ser, owoce, kawa/herbata. Pierwszy raz spotkałem się z sytuacją żeby opłacone śniadanie nie zawierało potraw na ciepło.

Łóżko mało komfortowe.

The bathroom was incredible - sky light, bath tub, very comfortable to get ready in. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of great restaurants in walking distance. Easy walk into the old town and train station.

Comfortable room with an amazing breakfast and lovely welcoming staff
Pros:

Welcoming environment, when our train was late they emailed ensuring we knew how to gain access as Reception was closed. Comfortable beds, amazing shower and fabulous buffet breakfast

Cons:

Just a little warm despite having a fan running in our room. Our ground floor room also noisy with people talking in the street outside late at night

Nettes Personal. Pech mit Zimmer 10 im EG zum Hinterhof.

Gutes Frühstück. Schöne Lobby und Bar. Modernes hübsches Bad. Schanthalerhöhe Quartier mit vielen Beizen, Kaffees - ein echter Ausgehtipp abseits dee touristischen Altstadt.

Cons:

Zimmer Nr. 10 im EG zum Hinterhof kann ich nicht empfehlen. Scheinwerfer vom Hinterhof, der Tag und Nacht ins Zimmer scheint. Störender Wummerton im Zimmer, scheinbar vom Wäschetrockner im UG. Nach Info an Reception abgestellt. Um 6:45 Uhr in der Früh ging es wieder los. Man hört die Schritte im Treppenhaus. Matratzen mit Plastikfolie geschützt. Sehr unangenehm. Neuere Produkte sind gästefreundlicher und angenehmer im Komfort.

This is a true gem of a hotel in Munich.
Pros:

Located a little way out of the Old Town and central points of interest in Munich (apart from the adjacent Octoberfest location!), this hotel is nested in a perfect spot for those interested in a less stressful environment and a willingness to walk and grab adjacent transport hubs to travel where they want to go.

Apart from being a truly 'boutique' hotel with none of the annoying 'corporate' or branded hotel trappings, the best thing about the hotel is the staff! They are amazingly kind and accommodating.

We stayed with friends and colleagues whilst in Munich for 9 nights (attending a conference and adding some holidays) and the consistent kindness of the staff (shout out to Tobias the barman) shone through.

The hotel is surrounded by plenty of restaurant choices and a shopping centre.

Cons:

In terms of amenities, the rooms are comfortable and with most things you need. However, a fridge and improved towels (fairly thin) would have pushed my rating higher. I'm not sure why the hotel owners haven't decided to match their standards elsewhere in terms of these two items.
