Vasco is an unquestionable asset to this operation.
Pros:

We loved everything about this great property. In a word, it was Perfect. The convenient location to the old downtown & City Gate area could not have been better. The room was extremely clean & well appointed, as was the entire property.
We experienced difficulties with a different property in a different location on the previous day, but thankfully found this wonderful property & its incredible staff saved us. Everyone from Front Desk to Housekeeping to the lovely lady who prepared our fabulous breakfast went beyond the call & everyone, from the moment we stepped foot on the property was friendly, engaging & incredibly helpful.
Thank you once again for making our last days in Ponta DelGada so memorable & wonderful. From the moment we made our first contact by phone with Vasco, he insured that our process was safe, fast, warm & welcoming. He’s a star..

Cons:

There was not one thing that I felt could have been better. The entire experience was beyond perfect. The entire staff was enchanting, which to us made this a 5 star experience. Much more impressive than our recent stays at other local hotels that cost 3X more than this wonderful little Hotel São Miguel. We will be back very soon to enjoy more of what this lovely island has to offer & when we do, we’ll be staying here.

I enjoyed my stat
Pros:

It was well situated.
The room, though a bit “tight”, were kept very clean
The staff were very pleasant and helpful

Cons:

The stairs were quite steep and there is no lift. Not ideal for the older Guest.
Breakfast was basic
The cost was high for a two star hotel

Pratique pour se rendre à l'aéroport
Pros:

Personnel agréable et serviable. Nous avons pris une nuit dans cet hôtel car nous avions notre vol très tôt le lendemain.
Lorsque nous en avons informé le réceptionniste, il nous a directement proposé une lunch box (le petit déjeuner étant compris dans la réservation) ainsi que de nous commander un taxi.
L'hôtel est dans le centre et nous avions une chambre au calme. Les lits étaient confortables

Cons:

La douche pourrait être rénovée (elle faisait ancienne par rapport au reste mais elle fonctionnait très bien).
Un endroit pour poser les produits de toilettes dans la salle de bain serait appréciable.

A környék hangulatos óvárosi, szép volt. Közel a kikötőhöz, szuper éttermek és boltok a közelben.

Cons:

A reggeli nagyon egyhangú, unalmas volt. Minden reggel pontosan ugyanaz a kínálat fogadott, ami elég szegényes volt ráadásul. A zöldségek nagyon hiányoztak.

The location was good for centre movement in the local area and many places to visit near by, overall great location

The noise pollution was terrible could hardly sleep, however was a fairly comfortable bed but overall not great for a good rest

Pros:

Boa localização, funcionários muito simpáticos e afáveis, resolveram rapidamente a falta de luz na casa de banho.
O pequeno almoço era variado e bastante agradável.

Cons:

O quarto era muito pequeno, cama de casal muito pequena, a televisão pequeníssima. Seria aceitável para quarto single com cama individual
A casa de banho não tinha banheira como esperava, embora tivesse poliban grande. Muito pouca pressão de água.
Ainda me cortei no chuveiro (no ralo) que estava partido e mal encaixado.

Just what we needed
Pros:

The last minute availability saved us from not staying the night in an airport. Staff was exceptionally welcoming upon arrival with rooms ready for our family. Rooms, beds and bathroom were very clean and fresh! We slept very comfortably with zero outside noise! The provided breakfast had options for everyone as well as quick replenishment for foods and drinks. Lastly, the front desk was able to call a car with ample room for luggage on our return to the airport.

Cons:

Just a suggestion to improve on the wifi availability. Connection was unpredictable, and made it stressful as we needed to keep track of our connection flight status. As travelers our mobile service did not have roaming. Wifi was important because of this. I recommend moving and/or upgrading routers and repeaters for upper floors. Knowing the building is old and the walls are stone we were patient.
