Hotel Oberhofer

We had truly been looking forward to a wonderful hotel experience. In fairness, we are still looking forward to it.

Check-in set the tone nicely: the room wasn't ready. But good things come to those who wait, and eventually we were shown to our penthouse — which, as promised, featured plenty of greenery on the terrace. Mostly weeds, but greenery nonetheless.

The room greeted us with a distinct aroma of sweat, a fact so undeniable that even the housekeeping staff commented on it when we ran into them. To be fair, the room itself was clean — which was fortunate, given the absence of soap in the bathroom.

We had especially looked forward to the view, and it truly was stunning. From the terrace, that is. It would presumably also have been stunning from the room, had the electric curtains worked. They did not, and they were rolled down on the outside, turning our panoramic mountain view into a panoramic curtain view.

Whenever we raised these small matters with the staff, we received the same thoughtful reply: "Well, what are we supposed to do about it?" — a question we, as guests, found surprisingly difficult to answer. What *we* could do, it turned out, was pay.

At check-out, we were asked to return the bathrobes. This proved challenging, as we had never seen any bathrobes. They were, apparently, meant to be in the room — much like the complimentary bubbly included with the penthouse booking. When we politely asked whether this might be a mistake, we were reassured that it was not: they had simply been too busy to arrange it.

It's hard to complain about the service. There wasn't any.

All in all, an interesting stay at Hotel OberHofer. We continue to look forward to a lovely hotel evening in the mountains — because we certainly haven't had one yet.

The perfect escape from busy city life. The surrounds are beautiful! The amenities at the hotel make it easy to stay for a few days to relax without having to leave.

The bed was comfortable, the pool and wellness centre were really well kept, helpful staff and the restaurant balcony has a wonderful view of the mountains.

Pas de climatisation.
Piscine plutôt petite mais bienvenue quand il fait chaud.
Notre wifi n’a jamais fonctionné.
Hôtel pas trop loin d’Innsbruck et à la montagne dans un cadre sympathique.

Lovely hotel with very nice pool. We stayed
for 1 night before driving south to Italy. Parking, pool and charger available. The supply in the 2 rooms were a bit random, 2 glasses in one room, but none in the other room. Only one rope in one of the rooms, but 2 in the other. Only tee and no coffee in either rooms.

Exceptional Stay – Truly World-Class Experience

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. The property itself is stunning – elegant, beautifully maintained, and with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service was nothing short of world-class; every staff member was professional, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect.

The food was incredible – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, making every meal a real delight. The wellness area was another highlight: relaxing, luxurious, and the perfect place to unwind after a day of activities.

I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay. I will definitely returning!

Det er let at blive forstyrret af lyde fra andre værelser/gangen.

Super fint hotel i meget smukke omgivelser. Vi var der kun en enkelt nat men vi kunne godt finde på at komme tilbage og være der i flere dage. Der var en fin lille spa/wellness afdeling. Og udenoms arealerne gave rig mulighed for afslapning og solbadning.
Morgenmaden var også rigtig lækker og ned stort udvalg.

There are two good reasons to stay at the Hotel Oberhofer - the incredible view and the equally incredible staff!
The view from our room 205 was spectacular and to be able to sit out on the balcony and gaze in wonder at it was priceless. The next best thing about this hotel is the staff - they are all so kind, welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them - and special shout outs to Paolo who rushes about tirelessly making sure every guests needs are met swiftly in the restaurant and the bar, and to Maria who went above and beyond to help us during our stay 🙏 thank you
As for the hotel itself, it is modern and spacious, the rooms are large and very comfortable, bed was good, separate bathroom and toilet also nice touch. Undercover parking available too was a bonus.
Fantastic pool and sauna/steam rooms and relaxation areas.
Only negative points we found were, shower over the bath was not ideal and the shower head bracket was broken meaning it would not stay in place, the sliding doors on the wardrobe were also broken and didn’t run properly to open/close, and the kettle lid was broken and fell off when pouring water but these small items did not spoil our enjoyment of the place and we would definitely 100% return here.

Excellent hotel. Awesome service. Views are fantastic, would definitely recommend and come back. Only one downside, no AC but as I understand almost all hotels in area without AC.

Beautiful location - stunning mountain scenery; walking trails; and clean air. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend
