Hotel Garni St. Hubertus

Super friendly and informative staff. Decent room and great breakfast each morning. Pool area was clean and the pool itself was a welcome addition. Great views out over the mountains. Hotel is brilliantly located right in the centre of things and very close to the lifts.

Driving up to the hotel, you are greeted with a traditional Alpine shaped hotel, balconies with lovely flower displays in front of them. The hotel interior is again very traditional. It is filled with very interesting decorations / pictures / ornaments. My daughter and I loved the uniqueness of it all. My French and German are OK, but I felt very guilty that my Italian skills are non-existent, however the owner checked us in in flawless English, explaining everything clearly and making us feel very welcome. There is a covered parking garage 20m from the hotel, which ordinarily is very expensive, but the hotel owner has a deal with it (reserved spaces). He gave us a card with limitless in and out access and we paid him the reduced rate on check out.
The room was fine for myself and my daughter, 1 double bed and 1 single bed (extremely comfortable). It’s not big by some hotel standards but perfectly adequate for 2 people. The bathroom was excellent with a lovely powerful shower. The balcony, what a view – the bustling, lovely town with such a magnificent mountain backdrop. Breakfast from 7.30 was simply excellent. A seemly limitless variety of breads, meats, chesses, pastries and heathy cereals etc. and then to top it off the chef will cook you eggs/bacon etc. and even better, a choice of sweet or savoury filled pancakes!! The lady who served us was really nice, helpful and friendly and one day even allowed us an early breakfast as we needed to get going early for our hike that day – Thank you.
As we were hiking, we wanted to use the lifts. I was a little bit confused by the Madonna d C website explaining the type of cards, but on check in the owner explained everything and sorted out the “Passion Card” for us – emailing the QR code to us. In our time there it was 29 Euros giving you for 2 lifts up and 2 down each day for 14 days. What a bargain.
I don’t need to explain how lovely MdC and the surrounding mountains are, they speak for themselves.

Hotel molto bello e in una posizione eccellente, vicina a tutti i servizi e gli impianti di risalita.
Staff gentile preparato e disponibile, colazione e cena ottime, ottimo assortimento anche per persone celiache.

Tra i punti di forza della struttura indubbiamente c’è la posizione, la pulizia, l’attenzione al cliente. C’è anche la piscina, di cui noi abbiamo usufruito poco perchè non c’è stato abbastanza tempo, ma nelle poche ore in cui siamo stati sono bastate per dire che è molto ben tenuta. Un plauso allo staff: Dario, Maria, la ragazza responsabile delle colazioni, davvero bravissima. Solare e sempre attenta. Anche i responsabili del servizio di pulizia, sempre discreti e molto bravi. Il fatto che la struttura accetti animali domestici è poi la ciliegina sulla torta. Ci siamo sentiti davvero bene, dispiaciuti di dover tornare a casa, che non capita sempre. La proprietà ha voluto conservare uno stile autentico, e gli interni rispecchiano l’anima montanara. La colazione è molto ricca e ben assortita.

Posizione

Albergo in pieno centro a Madonna di Campiglio con ottima colazione e staff molto gentile ed attento a soddisfare con cura ogni esigenza del cliente . Mi ha colpito molto la gentilezza del proprietario , che ti accoglie e ti fa sentire subito come se fossi a casa tua . Una persona che ha messo il cuore nella sua attività e questo lo si percepisce all’Hotel Garni Hubertus
