Su ubicación, y que dispone de habitaciones para 4 personas, la simpatía del personal de recepción, además nos dieron la habitación antes de hora porque estaba lista, gesto que agradecimos un montón.

For years, my family and I have chosen Hotel Europa whenever we visit Madrid, and each stay reminds us why we keep coming back. The location in the heart of Puerta del Sol is unbeatable, making it easy to explore everything this beautiful city has to offer.

What makes this hotel truly special is its people. The entire team consistently provides exceptional service, making every guest feel welcomed, valued, and cared for. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail create an experience that goes far beyond a typical hotel stay.

We also love their outdoor restaurant in Puerta del Sol, which offers delicious food, wonderful tapas, outstanding service, and one of the best atmospheres in Madrid for people-watching and enjoying the city’s energy.

A special thank you to Manager José Antonio Garabán Jr. and the entire Hotel Europa team for maintaining such high standards year after year. It is rare to find a hotel that combines location, comfort, charm, and genuine hospitality so effortlessly.

Excelente localização, o quarto era bastante básico e a decoração um pouco datada, mas a casa de banho era ótima. Nada a apontar :)

Excellent location, I love this place.

The location of the hotel is tops. Just off Sol Square, so close to the action but protected from the noise. Everything in central Madrid is within walking distance from the hotel. The staff were very efficient, professional and friendly. The room was slightly small but otherwise fine. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

We have returned from a 9 night stay at Hotel Europa.
We chose a courtyard facing room in case of noise from Puerta del Sol. It was very quiet. The room was extremely clean. The beds were very comfortable. Two free bottles of water in the fridge was appreciated. The room had plenty of space. We like a walk in shower and this room had a shower over the bath; but it was fine. The shower space itself was a bit narrow; there was plenty of hot water but the pressure could have been a bit better. The WiFi was a bit on/off in our room , but that may have been because of the location of the room (right at the end of the corridor near the emergency exit.
There was plenty of tasty food to eat at breakfast though the choice was a bit limited - we couldn't see any changes over the 9 nights we were there.
All the staff we encountered were very pleasant and helpful.
The hotel was in a great location for getting to everywhere we wanted to go. The metro station is a 2 minute walk from the hotel - very welcome the day we arrived back from a museum and it was pouring with rain - we didn't get very wet hurrying round to the hotel!
Puerta del Sol is busy most of the time; with a number of demonstrations taking place during our visit. There were all well behaved and didn't disrupt anyone walking through. Even though it was very busy, we never felt worried about our safety or about our belongings.
The hotel was a great choice for us!
