Pros:

La vue de l’établissement est magnifique

Cons:

Les horaires d’ouverture de la piscine sont restreints.
Chambre située dans la partie « annexe », loin de l’accueil et difficile d’accès.
Peu de choses à côté d’ouvert le soir en septembre.

With some interior renovation, this hotel could easily reach a four-star standard.
Pros:

What I liked about this property

The hotel has an excellent location, right near the Old Town, with the harbour directly in front of it. The location is truly fantastic. The building itself has a lot of historical character and charm. The staff were polite and helpful, and for a short stay of two nights, the hotel was perfectly manageable. I believe it could also be a good choice for a longer stay.

Cons:

What I didn’t like about this property

The building is very old, and I think the interior would benefit greatly from some renovation and updating. My room had carpet throughout, which may be problematic for guests who are sensitive to dust or have allergies. Replacing the carpets with laminate or another more hygienic and practical flooring would make a significant difference. With some relatively simple improvements to the interior, I believe the hotel could really shine and receive much higher guest ratings.

Traditional hotel with an excellent bay view

Great location as I had a ferry to catch in the morning.
