To reach the property: when coming from the South, drive through Toscolano Maderno. Do not go up towards Cecina at the first intersection, instead go towards Gargnano and turn left at the sign. Then follow indications for the hotel. When coming from the North, turn right after the Toscolano Maderno sign and follow indications for the hotel.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Für ein paar Tage OK.
Pros:

Ausblick auf den Gardasee.
Ein Pool nur für Erwachsene.
Essen und Trinken war gut.

Cons:

1.) Die Anfahrtsbeschreibung ist zwar richtig. Sollte aber etwas genauer sein. Zum Beispiel das das Ortsschild über der Straße hängt und 3 Informationen enthält.
Zuerst „Citta della Carta“ (weiß hinterlegt) , „Gargnano“ durchgestrichen (rot hinterlegt)und
„Toscolano Moderna“ (blau hinterlegt)
Ansonsten kann es passieren das man durch sehr sehr enge Gassen fährt.

2.) Ein ca. 40x40cm Stützpfeiler mitten im Badezimmer.

3.)Plastikbecher und Pappteller während dem Tag.
Sehr viele Mülleimer im Speisebereich, was keinen so schönen Anblick hergibt.
Da erwarte ich von einem 4-Sterne-Hotel schon eine bessere Lösung.

Pros:

Struttura bellissima in mezzo al verde, abbiamo soggiornato un weekend e ci siamo trovati veramente bene, la camera era vista strada, ma di nuova costruzione, bella spaziosa e pulita. Colazione top sia dolce che salata con una scelta vastissima.
Da ritornare!!!!!

Kein entspannter Urlaub. Wir kommen nicht mehr.

Die Aussicht war toll. Pool auf dem Dach war auch gut.
Das Essen war auch in Ordnung, nur zum Frühstück war des öfteren die Kaffeemaschine defekt.

Cons:

In den ersten zwei Tagen hat es sehr schlimm im Bad nach Fäkalien gestunken. Es wurde nichts unternommen.
Am Morgen des dritten Tages habe ich festgestellt, daß der Siphon vom Waschbecken defekt bzw. nicht richtig angeschlossen war.
Als ich es dem Hotelmanager sagte wurde der Siphon ausgetauscht.
Aber keine Entschuldigung oder etwa Nachlass, im Gegenteil meine Frau wurde in den ersten beiden Tagen von der Dame an der Rezeption und vom Hotelmanager nur dumm angeredet . Wir wollten wieder abreisen , es wurde uns aber gesagt, dass wir den vollen Preis zahlen müssen.
Wenn ich nicht selbst die Ursache des üblen Geruches gefunden hätte, würde es wahrscheinlich noch heute stinken.
Am Abend des zweiten Tages kam ein Mitarbeiter des Hotels (Afrikaner) der Null Ahnung hatte und schüttete 2 Liter Abfluß-Reininger in die Dusche und WC. Das wars.
Wir waren sehr überrascht, dass es für Kaffee und Getränke nur Plastikbecher und Plastiklöffel gab !!! (4Sterne Hotel ???)
Im Großen und Ganzen nicht zu empfehlen.
Hotelgäste die schon öfters im Hotel waren, (seit 10 Jahren) sagten , dass es von Jahr zu Jahr schlechter geworden ist
seit der vorherige Hotelbesitzer verstorben ist.

Alles in allem kann ich das Hotel empfehlen , TOP LAGE , TOP PERSONAL
Pros:

Das Hotel hat ein schöne Lage mit Blick auf den Gardasee ( wenn man dies gebucht hatte), unser Zimmer hatte eine Terrasse mit Liegen…phantastisch!
Die Kellner und Angestellten waren äußerst nett , besonders 1 Kellner, dessen Namen ich leider nicht weiß, brachte uns beim Abendessen immer zum schmunzeln 😁
Dieses ( also das Abendessen ) war eigentlich das Highlight des Tages, uns hat es immer geschmeckt und es war sehr abwechslungsreich, was wir leider vom Frühstück nicht behaupten können. Parkplatz war dabei 👍

Cons:

Diverse Möbel- und Ausstattungsstücke des Zimmers kaputt, wackelig, abgenutzt.. Das Frühstück war 😕
