Staff at breakfast were so kind and helpful
When we arrived we were met by a woman in reception who she was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. She did not tell us or even point where our room was or where breakfast was to be served. This was a very poor first impression and so disappointing.

Very conveniently located, amazing staff. Loved that this is family run. The decor is slightly out of date, but we will take that over an impersonal Air B n B that takes much needed long-term housing off the market. Great hotel. Ample breakfast. Fantastic location.

A little gem. We stayed for three nights. The food was soooo good that we dined the three nights in the hotel restaurant. It wouldnt be out of place in a michelin star restaurant. Also, have to say that the staff are so friendly and catered to our every need, be it more tea or whatever. The entertainment in the bar was top class, being an open mic night, didnt know what to expect, wow we're we happily surprised. Plaudits to all involved....Would highly recommend and will return without hesitation...

Zentraler könnte das Hotel nicht sein und das Zimmer war relativ groß. Wir hatten einen Twinroom gebucht und hatten sogar drei Betten. Beim Frühstück kann man warmes Essen nach seinen Wünschen bestellen und Müsli vom Buffet holen. Das Rührei war sehr lecker.
Der Parkplatz ist sehr abenteuerlich, uns würde an der Rezeption dazu geraten, ihn uns erst einmal ohne Auto anzuschauen und am besten gar nicht zu nutzen. Die Einfahrt ist extrem eng und an einer Stelle steil, hügelig und geschottert. Es ging, aber nur mit Einweisung. Das ganze Hotel ist gemütlich aber sehr in die Jahre gekommen, insbesondere unser Badezimmer hätte schon vor Jahren eine Renovierung nötig gehabt. Die Abflüsse von Wachsbecken und Badewanne waren blau- grün verrostet und in der Badewanne waren Rückstände, Putzmittel oder einfach Dreck, der uns dazu gebracht hat, dort nicht zu duschen.
Beim Frühstück gab es leider nur eingelegtes Obst, kein frisches.
Es gibt zwar keinen Fahrstuhl aber älteren Leuten hat das Personal angeboten, die Koffer zu tragen.
It was centrally located, very clean and value for money for time of year. Foyles himself a lovely chap & reception ladies so nice , great to find this gem.
