Restaurant was excellent, staff were welcoming, location fabulous

Cons:

My room was small, no soundproofing, the window would not shut and the bed was a little uncomfortable. Not good value for money and was disappointed with size of room.

Adequate but a bot disappointing.... however the staff were brilliant

Veranda area especially
Filthy ash trays not emptied
Veranda needed sweeping badly
One miserable member of staff who was clearly not happy
Very basics stuff which begs the question where was the manager and why didn't he/she nitice and correct any of this!
Filthy windows which i appreciate is a ckbatant battle on a beach area.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff, excellent location, comfortable rooms. A really enjoyable stay.
Pros:

very friendly and helpful staff. good dinner and breakfast. pleasant lounge and dining room with sea view. very close to shops, sea and local restaurants. rooms were cleaned each morning quickly and efficiently by friendly cleaning team. rooms have everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

Cons:

I can't think of much.... The lift was a bit slow, but we weren't on a schedule...

A 92nd birthday treat for our father, and he thoroughly enjoyed it.
Pros:

Brilliant location, good breakfast, clean and comfortable room.

Cons:

We almost didnt check in because the entrance to reception was so untidy, unswept, dirty windows, and absolutely uninviting, but once up the stairs to reception it was much better. The terrace on the beach front is almost shameful, it has not been swept or cleaned for some time, rusty stools, and dreadfully slow service.

Breakfast was good.

Cons:

Parking facilities - very limited car parking spaces. A member of staff kindly sorted a space out for us but it's a shame the hotel doesn't have a bigger designated area for parking.

Great location from which to enjoy the Aldeburgh Carnival
Pros:

The staff were excellent and a great location from which to enjoy the carnival. Breakfast was delicious with great sea views. The room was clean, cool and comfortable. We finished the evening with drinks on the terrace which was a real treat.

Cons:

Parking was a problem but understandable on such an occasion.
